5 star course
I have played 20 different course since I moved to Sarasota, Florida. This facility is the best so far.
Only complaint was pace of play on back 9 hole.. They started everyone on two of the three nines. We were the 3rd group out. When we finished the first nine we had to wait 30 minutes for the last to come off the other 9. After a half hour we waited on every hole until we finished.

Heron Creek delivers good value and has been repaired from hurricane Ian quite well.

Nine holes only
Can only give a review for Marsh course! Got rained out for the Creek with lightning all around. Heavy downpour and gave up.. Called golf now and not able to talk with anyone anymore…Not at all like before when I joined golf now.., Is what it is

Great day
Booked on GolfNow at the last minute. Our twosome got to play alone and the pace of play was very fast. Rangers were constantly making sure we were ok. Course was beautiful, saw a few gators, lost a lot of balls!

Avoid until greens see improvement.
I have played this course several times in the past, and had never been disappointed until yesterday. When I question the staff about the condition of the green's, they all had explanations and reasons for their condition. While they were polite and apologetic, there is no reason for the greens to be in the condition they are. Other area courses are in perfect condition.

Not so much
I paid $52 on Golf Now and that was too much for this course, imo. Greens were slow and patchy and the layout of the course is a bit quirky. Tbh, I probably wouldn’t play here again.

Staff are excellent
The staff set the standards here. Friendly helpfull as all get out and thats just the staff at the bag drop. Every one else was just as good..

It was great!
From the cart drop off area (guys were great) staff at clubhouse pro shop were also very friendly and starter was very helpful.. Golf game was not very good, only was able to shoot my age… When you are able to finish with the same ball you start with, that’s an accomplishment @ Heron Creek.. Kudos to the greens superintendent.. Keep up the good work!
