Not so much
I paid $52 on Golf Now and that was too much for this course, imo. Greens were slow and patchy and the layout of the course is a bit quirky. Tbh, I probably wouldn’t play here again.

Staff are excellent
The staff set the standards here. Friendly helpfull as all get out and thats just the staff at the bag drop. Every one else was just as good..

It was great!
From the cart drop off area (guys were great) staff at clubhouse pro shop were also very friendly and starter was very helpful.. Golf game was not very good, only was able to shoot my age… When you are able to finish with the same ball you start with, that’s an accomplishment @ Heron Creek.. Kudos to the greens superintendent.. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful Facility
Course was in great shape tee to green, very plush, however, greens on first nine (oaks I think) were terribly slow. Greens on back nine (marsh) were much nicer, but both ran true & were consistent on each of respective nine holes. Had fair amount of rain 2 days before, so maybe that was the case, as typically in the past, greens here are nice & quick. Both green side bunkers I found were a little thin on sand & "heavy" after top 1/2" or so ( see above rain comment). Teed off early, so a little disappointed wasn't able to take advantage of nice practice facility, but played in exactly 4 hours for a foursome. All in all, by far one of the nicest courses in the area. Play it!!

Nice layout, challenging course
Love the layout. Course was a bit wet and several holes were cartpath only. Cart paths were not latkes for distance this slowing down play in order to walk out to ball to ascertain a yardage.

Marsh Creek
Always enjoy playing Heron Creek. Played Marsh-Creek which are best sides IMO. Overall playability was good considering heavy rain overnight. Cart path only is brutal though. Layout is challenging and yardage is deceptive especially in windy conditions.
One of our three-some made a hole-in-one on Marsh #6 so he thinks its an easy game.8 iron from 151.
