Heron Creek Never Disappoints
Heron Creek never disappoints and is one of the nicest courses in the tri-county area. Rotating 9’s keeps play fresh and despite a busy season and little rain, the course was in great shape for late May. Greens were fast but in good shape as were fairways and tee boxes. Pace was decent for a busy morning, just over 4 overs for a foursome. Love the amenities here with free range balls, chipping area, and water/ice stations. Staff is friendly. Definitely recommend this challenging but fun course
Thank you for your review, msolum. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

5 star course
I have played 20 different course since I moved to Sarasota, Florida. This facility is the best so far.
Only complaint was pace of play on back 9 hole.. They started everyone on two of the three nines. We were the 3rd group out. When we finished the first nine we had to wait 30 minutes for the last to come off the other 9. After a half hour we waited on every hole until we finished.

Can only give a review for Marsh course! Got rained out for the Creek with lightning all around. Heavy downpour and gave up.. Called golf now and not able to talk with anyone anymore…Not at all like before when I joined golf now.., Is what it is

Great day
Booked on GolfNow at the last minute. Our twosome got to play alone and the pace of play was very fast. Rangers were constantly making sure we were ok. Course was beautiful, saw a few gators, lost a lot of balls!

Avoid until greens see improvement.
I have played this course several times in the past, and had never been disappointed until yesterday. When I question the staff about the condition of the green's, they all had explanations and reasons for their condition. While they were polite and apologetic, there is no reason for the greens to be in the condition they are. Other area courses are in perfect condition.
Hi, mishnmikeb. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We are working to get everything up to par. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game, and we will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course. We hope to see you again soon.
