Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course

It was first time at this course! I was referred by a friend and he didn’t sell me short! The course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly

played early Sunday on Easter. course was in great shape, fairways and greens were in perfect shape. Sand traps were raked and ready to go with our early tee time.

The practice areas are phenomenal! Regular driving range, short range, chipping greens, sand trap practice - couldn't ask for much more!

we only played 9 but they sent out early and by ourselves which was great as we finished an hour earlier than expected . Course was in great shape, greens very fast

Been over 20 years since I’ve played it and this was a 9 holes I have never played….

Front nine was great. Back nine was extremely slow. Too many groups on each hole. No ranger came around on the back nine.

I like just about everything about Heron Creek. The course is in good condition, the practice facilities are better than most, the staff is great both in the clubhouse and on the course, and the pace of play is much better in mid-April than it is in January. No surprise there. What disappointed me was not having food service in the Grill on a Sunday afternoon. Not a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice to be able to order lunch.

It all works good till you tee off. Nice clubhouse staff though don’t daudle. Nice starter and practice facilities set the mark. Course Attendants don’t do their homework before pushing you rudely to move along even though you have already waited every tee shot and every other shot for the day. Played same course last week and the wait was actually worse of that is possible. They state play time goals but not possible from our two experiences in two weeks.

Last week an on course rep tried to jam us for ordering food at the turn at the tennis facility. Offered to deliver it to us on the course which is a nice way to say you need to move on. Again, he didn’t see that there was no place to go.

One of the best courses in the area and I would recommend it to any one of any level..

layout is okay, but greens are ridiculous; need to redo the greens to make them playable. Also, course is rated too low, killing the handicap. value is not very good, staff was not friendly, to put it mildly. Suggest looking for alternatives.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Heron Creek golf course. The staff was especially friendly and the course was in great shape for this time of year. Highly recommend the place!
