Bluewater Bay Resort - Marsh Course

Wife and I played for first time. Slow day so pace of play was excellent. Greens were in good shape. Tee boxes a bit shaggy. Decent layout. A couple of holes were worth the price of admission.

Course was well groomed. Greens had a few rough spots but putts ran true. We have been in Panama City Beach for a week, played 4 times and chose to play this course a second time. Great value. Friendly staff.

Playing this course several years ago and it definately is going downhill, even one of the courses has been closed. Hope they can find a buyer to take ove this course and restore it

First time playing the course. Had a friendly welcome from the clubhouse staff. Pace of play was great. A few of the greens needed some work but were manageable. Would play again on my next trip to the area.

It was a fair deal for the money. But the staff was amazing and extremely friendly and kind. Probably won’t play it again but it was a fun day on the course.

We had an excellent time on the course. My friends and I liked the layout how nicely the fairways and greens played. Will be back on our next visit to play again

Course layout is nice, scenery is breathtaking.... but the fairways are extremely tight and I mean real , real tight. 60 yards wide off the tees and fairway play was soft you may wanna club up to get it where you need. The bunkers are thick and I mean extremely thick which makes it very tough to get out.. green speed is terrible.. you are 3 putting automatically, they need mowed and rolled big time. Overall the scenery and view of this course is breathtaking.

Difficult to understand what they went thru recently with any storms as I am not from the area, but the greens were absolutely atrocious. I honestly couldn’t believe just how bad they were. Course has a short layout, not many par 4’s that were 375+. From tee to green it was in my opinion the worst golf course I had ever seen. Hopefully they can get the course back in shape, but I struggle to see how this course survives out here. Played with my mom and great uncle, so we were not going to pay anything over $50 for one round during our trip, wish we would have!

I try to play this course each time I come to Destin in the fall. Sorry to say this will be my last time. The greens were terrible.

I would avoid this course in it current condition. Fairways were burned in spots. Greens were in terrible shape and there was no place to get a hot dog or hamburger. Very disappointed with the course. Would not play again for a little while

The course is in overall good shape. It had dried out since the last round I played and they were able to mow the rough. It was still rough, but not as bad as earlier. Some of the greens are still suspect with patches of bare spots and random clumps of grass. All in all it is an enjoyable course and we will be back.

four old duffers took on the Blue Water Bay course and scored very well. We played a best ball tournament with 8 birdies and one bogie. Lost of fun and laughs
