The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on most of the holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

If you’re looking to go out and hack it up for cheap for a few hours, this course is for you. If you don’t mind a 2.5 hours for 9 holes, this is for you. Course condition is in $38 shape. Fairways were fair at best. Saw some sprinklers just dumping water leaving standing water on several holes. Saw groups of 5 or 6 in front of us. No rangers to monitor this. Driving range is currently closed as well, so that was also a bummer. Greens were in poor/fair shape. After the round went to grab a dog. The rolling hot dogs looked 4-5 days old and shriveled. This course has a lot of potential but needs some serious money and love poured into it.

Decent course

Great laid back course for amateur players like myself. It is by no means perfect but the price is great and the carts are good! You can play a quick nine and not regret spending a ton too! Now that they’ve condensed to 9 from 18 hopefully the grounds will improve some too.

Nice low budget course

I was satisfied with this course. Other reviews talked about how grass was dead, etc but it’s priced cheaper than the others around. Staff was very cool and carts were nice with a gps built in. Course layout was cool. If you can get over the areas of brown grass and somewhat poor green conditions I think you’d like it overall. Pay $40 for a quick 9 in Destin…..yes please! Star rating not working but I’d give it a 4 stsrs

Horrible shape

I played this course few years ago when it was 18 holes. It was in decent shape for the money. This place ain’t worth $20 it’s in HORRIBLE condition!

A bargain price for a decent course

Course is only 9 holes, but only cost $22 on GolfNow. I was solo playing behind a threesome, but the pace was good. Although you can tell they’re working on a limited budget the course was in good shape, and challenging nonetheless.

Friendly and challenging

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was challenging. Play the back nine and there were some very narrow, challenging spots and it as well taken care of.

Late employee

Arrived 30 minutes early. The cart attendant was there but the clubhouse was closed. About an hour later the guy showed up to unlock to clubhouse. Not a huge deal because they let us go ahead and play and we paid once we got back. Greens were not in very good shape. Lots of dead bumpy grass. Would likely not play again. I’d suggest paying a bit more for a tee time at a better course.

Hackers paradise

If you’re looking for a laid back course without the crowds or cost of Sandestin then this is your best option. Rental clubs were decent. Pro shop has everything you need. Friendly staff

Too Crowded

No water fountains or beverage cart, so buy your drinks at the clubhouse. Course is in terrible shape, I guess the front 9 is being renovated. Back 9 had gopher holes and sand all over. The wildlife and water hazards made for a decent view. Would play again for cheap, but lower your expectations.

Don’t listen to the haters

I read all the reviews (“dirt tee boxes”, “dirt greens”, etc) and was a little skeptical. And I was pleasantly surprised. This course is just fine. Yeah it’s not a perfectly manicured 5-Star golf course, but why would you expect that for $39 including cart??? It’s a very fun, sometimes challenging, 9-hole that I’d say will keep beginners on their toes and average golfers having a fun day. Greens were in fine shape for a public course. Fairways were wide and well-kept. Yes you’ll have to ask the construction workers for directions to get to the pro shop but that means no wait time and no crowds. It was so good (especially for the price!) that I’m going again this week.

Rough Shape

This is course it only to take a wife who is learning to play or a young son or daughter who is learning.

The conditions are truly horrendous. The staff was fine but the guy who took our green fee begged for tips.

My wife and I spent 39 per person for 9 holes and that isn't a good value even at that price.

Good thing it was dirt cheap!

Beware, hard to even get into the course because of road work.

Worst ever seen

Dirt tee boxes, dirt fairways once the ball gets on the green. You just have to pick it up because there is no green. After four holes, I drove back and turned my cart in. A rude kid said that was fast, I told him I played a better golf course in Afghanistan. He replied with well that’s what you get for $40. No when I get it for $40 is 218 pristine golf courses in Fort Walton Beach or Shalimar all for $40. This course is criminal. It should be illegal.
