Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis

There isn’t much to say other than, geez. Only good thing about this course are working golf carts. Be sure to wear some kind of mask so no one will recognize you if you play it. Bring a goat with you if you decide to play it so at least one of you will be happy.

Only back nine was open. Overall, the tea boxes is fairways and greens were in horrible condition. I’m from Colorado and the courses in January are in better shape than here in Florida, which is crazy! We played the links course two days before and it was beautiful. I would not recommend anybody book a teatime and play here until serious changes are made.

The only good thing about this course was the golf carts! This is in horrendous shape, there is no signage after hole 11. The greens are beyond horrible! I can’t believe this place has not gone under! Stealing money from golfers!

Average course at a great price for Destin. Easy on and great availability to play at your leisure.

Will be back and didn’t expect to get help with bags and for the value this place is awesome and a great layout and fun track. You play 10-18 as it was once a 9 hole! We came down from Indiana and stayed in a condo in the resort so it’s definitely convenient.

My wife and I played Seascape Golf Course for the first time on 9/21. The staff are extremely nice and professional. The carts have gps in them which is a cool feature. They have good rental clubs for those who need them. There does not appear to be a driving range. The “first” nine holes are closed for construction so you only play the back nine. The course is in pretty rough shape. Lots of bare spots and sometimes more sand and dirt than grass on the fairways. The cart path is hard to navigate at times because it ends and restarts without notice. Overall it’s an ok place to play a quick round of 9 if you’re just wanting to have fun, but there are definitely nicer courses near by.

Just wanted to hit some balls and expected course to be in rough shape and it was. Had to skip one hole to get by a foursome that may still be playing. Once had course to myself hit extra balls and piddled around greens and sand traps. For money was ok but it’s a good hacker or beginner course not for a serious round of golf.

Course was in Great Shape, will play it again soon!

All n all bad shape but playable. Didn’t expect much and it meet expectations. Wanted to go and just hit some balls so rather go play a ratty course than just pound balls on a range. Only played 8 holes as foursome in frot of me likely to still playin so skipped to next hole. Ok for what I wanted.

Great clubhouse and great staff, all very friendly and helpful.

Course was great for the money!

The Greens were totally burnt and at times it was like putting on soil or mud

I played last week and am driving 5-1/2 hours back on another trip and I am already scheduled with a tee time for Saturday. Some challenging holes, some not so bad, and some fairly straightforward. We moved along without having to wait on anyone ahead of us. This duffer broke 100, but just with a lucky putt.

Course was nice but greens were rough, it was exactly what I was looking for, nice cheap place to take my girl friend and play with out being rushed or paying 100+ dollars since she is just getting started, staff was nice but the course was under construction I’m sure when that’s done it will be a great place to play ! Cheap golf and beer !

I snagged a last minute hot deal for $21.99 to play 9 holes with a cart. I didn’t have high expectations and I had already golfed at Indian Bayou earlier in my vacation.

Course maintenance was not top notch as to be expected and some patches on the greens caused some frustration. Water hazards galore. I lost one ball out of 18 holes 2 days prior at another course, but 6 out of 9 at Seascapes. (I know, I should just play better…)

The Good:

Very friendly staff and the clubhouse was better than I expected with all the amenities of a good public course. Carts even had gps screens which was a bonus because I discovered that I left my range finder at another course… I also enjoyed playing closer to the ocean and resorts as I didn’t get me fix of Florida scenery at Indian Bayou.

I would play here again for the price.

We understand that Seascape is due for renovation, but you don’t need to let everything fall apart first.
