Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis

About
The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Good course
Great course first time playing there. Some greens were not so green but overall good course and great layout. challenging
Used to be nice
Been coming to destin for almost 20 years and always play this course as a warmup. Couldn't believet how the conditions have down hill. Almost all greens were mostly rolled dirt and it was impossible to tell the difference between the rough and fairway. All weeds and sand. Definitely will not be back.
Not to bad of a course. The issue was the greens. Terrible condition but have potential.
Vacation Round
The " greens" have minimal grass and more dirt than anything else. Layout is fine and staff is friendly. Exactly what you would expect for a last minute vacation round.
Seascape Golf
The layout of the course was decent, but most of the greens were not in good shape. However, course was playable and also friendly to women golfers. The members of the staff we met were good and helpful. If the greens improve, I’d like to play it again.
Unfortunately this Course has Gone Down Hill
I’ve played this course about 10 times over a span of 6-7 yrs when traveling on vacation. This used to be a great course for the money if you have the discount through one of the resorts! Before coming down here, I was talking the course up to some of my buddies. From our place, we could see some of the fungus infected greens and sandy fairways. Unlike what I was accustomed to with this course. The only thing I still like about SeaScape Golf Course is the attackable par 4’s and the challenging, yet friendly layout. It was very sad to see what has happened here. Very sad.
seascape
The course is in good shape except for the greens. More than half of the greens are in terrible shape. Large what appear to be dead areas.
Same old thing
Love the layout but over priced since it's Destin. At least 3 greens with no grass bit others are great. It is what is for being in Destin. Great for short hitters bit not worth the price
$63 for dog track
This course has potential. Just needs money infusion BAD! Greens were very poor condition with a majority of them destroyed by fungus or exposure to too much moisture. Infrastructure falling apart. Fairways were mostly weeds and crab grass. Layout was fun and course has potential, just needs some investment to bring it back to life. Would not recommend playing in current condition, especially not at the current rate.
The greens are horrible. The rest if the course was ok. The staff was effective but unfriendly. The kid in the cart barn was extremely nice and helpful. The others could care less that anyone was there. They should have told us the greens were nothing but dirt. Definitely won't be back.
Nice course but the greens....
This could be an excellent course if they could get their greens in order. Very long and wide fairways, with challenging hazards. But the majority of the greens are in horrible shape. What a shame.
Awful Greens, mostly on front 9
Sad, from what I’ve heard this use to be a great course. It’s got a very nice layout, but everything is dated, except for the golf carts with GPS.. The greens, mostly on Front 9 can barley be called greens. I just have to assume that COVID has had a significant impact. All the support, cart staff and starter were super friendly...great folks. Hope greens get fixed to make it more enjoyable.
Greens
Greens and fairways are non-existence. Greens have no grass on it and all the fairways is a continuous sand trap. No grass or dirt in fairways.
Good course for the money
Play while in the area, the course layout is nice. Very long/wide fairways and challenging hazards. The greens do need work however. Would recommend for the money.
Good Place
The greens need a lot of work but when they get them back the course has a nice layout, Great value for the money
Extremely Unhappy Customer
We will not return to this course, even thought it is 5 minutes from home. The conditions were embarrassing for us and the tourists we played with from St. Louis. They wanted a refund on Hole 1 after seeing the green.
