Plantation Preserve Golf Course

Best course in Fort Lauderdale. Good condition. Good pace of play and outstanding starter who was super flexible and very friendly. Very enjoyable round.

Again the greens were aerated. Nobody told us and they charge you the same price

Green and fairways were aerated with a lot of sand on the greens which were soft. So the experience was not great but the course is well maintained. Will return when the greens recover. Course demands good driving as the rough is thick.

Had a great time playing this course. The layout is challenging but still open. The landscape does not feel like the typical South Florida course and that makes it more entertaining. I was not notified on GolfNow that the greens had just been airated which obviously made putting stressful but that was not the course's fault.

We had a good experience in this golf course.

Classy operation from curbside bag drop off through pro shop, range, course and staff. Plantation Preserve is nestled in a beautiful setting with lovely views and interesting holes. Fairways are well kept and greens roll true. Play during the week if possible because rounds on weekends are somewhat slow. Recently, we played a round during the week in 3:20 while the earlier weekend round was 4:40. Ranger tried to move folks along but he wan't able to increase the pace. Friendly staff and challenging holes with lots of water in play. Bring your "A" game.

Nice track, but average condition. Greens very bumpy. I expected better, given previous reviews. And pro-shop staff shouldn't freak out when a golfer presents a Hot Deal confirmation. I was made to feel very uncomfortable. My view; if a course doesn't like Golf Now terms and polices, then don't participate.

Let me start by saying I would give the overall experience a 3-4. The course itself is a 4. I usually come here to use the range and have been looking forward to playing here all winter. With all of the snow birds down the course has been expensive and crowded. Today, I finally found a hot deal that was an ok price. The cart guys were friendly and helpful. However, the pro shop attendant (Steve) and another guy who was not wearing a name tag were no where near as friendly. The starter Ron was also not on the friendlier side. The course is not inexpensive by any means and one thing I would expect is for the staff to be much more inviting.

The pace of play today was actually great, although many times I've seen the backup at the first tee and fully understand you might end up playing a 5 hour round more times than not. With that said, today I tee'd off at 12:40 and was done by 3:40 at the latest.

The course condition was pretty good. The greens were nice but were very hard and it was almost impossible to get anything to stick (we haven't had much rain here lately though so I can understand that). The fairways and most tee boxes were in good shape. The bunkers were not good. Most had very little sand or were a bit chewed up. That was the most disappointing part of the course as far as actually playing it. If you just stay out of the bunkers you don't really have to worry about it though.

Some of the other times I've been here, I interacted with Joe and he is has always been very friendly. The range is great and is actually inexpensive compared to Jacaranda. If you can find a good deal online, I would say take it. But if not, I probably wouldn't pay what they are asking especially in the morning.

Beautiful course. ONLY thing I'd like to see is fewer difficult drives. I drive 270-300 and I have to try to shape the drive (not my forte by any means). This made scoring difficult. Extremely well maintained and beautiful course

What made it a very good experience was the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. Very good layout and quite challenging especially from the blue tees on a windy day. Par threes are very difficult period I would play it again.

Very interesting course with many dog legs and carries over water. Now that I know the course I would like to play it again. Staff was very friendly.
