Defintrely recommend. Great staff. Great layout great condition.

The course was in surprisingly good conditions for the area given the lack of rainfall. The greens were quick and rolled true and the tee boxes and fairways were decent. The attendant in the pro shop was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean and well air conditioned.

Unfortunately course management and the ranger made what could be a great course a miserable experience. There were three in our group and we were stuck behind a group of five that appeared to be having a lesson as they all went to each person’s ball and talked through every shot. They would not let us play through even when asked. After almost 4 hours we were only through hole 13. We saw the ranger who had passed them and us several times to ask them to let us play through and he refused. He said there were only 3 of them playing as they only had 3 bags and they were keeping up with the group in front of them. We told him we observed four of them playing every hole and all five on some holes. He shrugged his shoulders and did nothing. On whole 15, it was a longer par 5 so we were able to see that the group in front of them was long gone. We ended up skipping the whole and noted the group in front of them was tearing off on 17. Either the ranger has a funny definition of keeping up when they were two holes behind or he was willing to lie to a customer to keep from doing his job. Either way, I will likely not be back as this was not the first experience of poor course management here.

Played on a busy Sunday morning. Surprisingly the pace of play was good, the only down side is that we started on the back 9. No big deal deal regardless. I always have a good time playing at heritage and the conditions are in great shape for this time of the year.

I used to play this course a lot before. After a long time off not playing (over 10 years) I am happy to say this course will become a regular course to play again. I love the condition of the course, the layout fits my eyes and game. I love it.

It's extremely dry due to lack of rain in area but this course is managing it great. The greens are great, fast and rolled true. Only green that had an issue was hole 9 but all other greens good to great. Definitely worth it coming from St Augustine to play some courses in the are with my son's and was our favorite we played while down there.

Really enjoyed this course. Need to be careful off most tees and play less than driver unless you are straight and consistent. Fast challenging greens. A great test that doesn’t cost a fortune.

This was my first time playing here. We teed off on time (from #10). We opted to play the blue tees to make the yardage fit our game as the white was too short.

This was a good call, it made some tee shots more difficult and the par 3’s all longer.

We played in just over 4 hours, not waiting after the 3rd hole.

First time playing here. I thought the layout was good all around and the green is extremely challenging to read (especially for first timer). The pace of play was surprisingly pleasant. There were a couple of elderly foursomes tee off before our threesome (most likely regular members) but we never seen them again. We finished our round just over 3 hours. Great value for the money compare to other courses. The restaurant on site was also top notch to grab all day breakfast after the round! Highly recommend.

I play golf every week in Lakeland and Tampa . Heritage isles is in great shape. It’s the best I’ve seen in several months elsewhere. Most courses are beat up . Even the better ones are just not as good as they usually are. Heritage definitely never seems to miss a beat. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely in nice shape and for the price you can’t beat it these days. We will continue to play here as much as we can. Rainy season is coming and heritage doesn’t handle a lot of water as much as others so hopefully it isn’t too bad this summer. Anyways don’t skip this one. It’s a great place to play. Side note is the starters seem to be a little rude. We blow it off but I’ve seen other reviews suggesting it. Maybe some customer service training is in order lol. Everyone else is great!
