About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Not worth the money , rude staff
Started off by charging me an extra 15-18$ for my 7 year old son to ride with me in the cart . And then the cart dies on the course and nobody answered the phone , so started walking with my son and golf bag , I call again get ahold of the staff they send someone out drive by me say sorry and keep trucking . No discount no we will make this right so very unsatisfactory in my book .
One Of Tampa's Best Courses
Been a decade since I last played here and I'll surely return once the winter season passes.

Great local course
Heritage Isles is just around the corner from where I live and it is an excellent course for a friendly and somewhat challenging round of golf . I enjoy the layout enormously , as it caters for the retired golfer like myself and also strong young players like my son. When I last played the greens were a touch bumpy , probably due to the onset of winter , but in summer the greens and the course are usually in fine condition with the former being lightning fast and true. A great exoerience all round.

Challenging Course
Staff friendly for us, conditions better than most, and greens pretty quick. Best course for the $ in the area.

Staff not friendly, kind of ruined my day
If you could go and not deal with staff, it would be fine. I was charged $19+ change for a non-golfer (ball spotter) to ride along. For medical reasons I have a problem following the ball. I have paid from $0 to $10 for this accommodation. This course requires $18 (for insurance). When they charged me 7% sales tax on that fee, I questioned it. Counter staff = 0
On to the 1st hole.. The starter questioned me about the extra rider,. I presented my receipt along with acknowledging that this was the most expensive rider I'd ever had. He ask why I had a rider. I told him. He suggested I learn to hit the ball straigher (no humor intended on his part). Starter = 0
With no further contact with staff, the rest of the round was fine. Golf really should fun!

Packed
Enjoyed playing here on many occasions but not today. Played the front as a foursome in the normal two hours. Made the turn and came to a dead stop on hole number 11. Par5. Three groups on the tee and one in the fairway.. 50 minutes to play the first two holes was too much. Called it a day.

Greens looked worse then they were
Most greens were lacking grass but were smooth and fast. They had a mold on them and a few edges were in bad shape. The fairways were some on the best I played since coming to Florida this year. The fairways had plenty of grass and drives rolled out well. Enjoyed my day there and plan on returning

Greens in rough shape
Overall a solid course and experience but the greens are in really rough shape. You will be putting through a large patch of dirt or mud at some point during your round.

Greens are nice. But are getting worn from a lot of play

If you don’t have a gps for golf and check for water or sand you might find both off the tee on any new course you play had fun enjoyed the course
