Cypress Head Golf Club
About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Very Nice
Lots of variation of hole layout. Water in play and targeted landing areas. Even though the greens were recently aerated the still putted fairly true. Very enjoyable
Great course great layout
Played here on vacation this year. Great course to play if in Daytona area.
Friendly staff and great facility. Starter got us out right on time and pace of play was just perfect.
The course itself is in great condition and a pleasure to play. It is not an easy course by any means as the greens are all protected by bunkers and raised mounds. Water comes in play on almost every hole with several forced carries. The tees are set perfect especially for the ladies offering them a good chance to score.
What I absolutely Love about this course is that each hole is unique and has so much character. Risk and reward is the name of the game here Birdies can be had but a mistake can cost you
A blast to play and Friendly Staff. We will be back again !
Second round and still lovin it
This course is so well maintained that I don't even mind the fact that I lost 6 golf balls pace was good staff especially the guy from Louisville were great. Nice bar and prices just an overall fun course
Best course we played in the area
Having played 3 other courses in the area cypress was the best for overall enjoyment. Course condition and layout were ok. I play off 8 handicap and wife off 19 and we both enjoyed it. The only course we played that we would go back to.
Friendly Course
First time back since week it re-opened in fall of 2015, and the course was still in good shape, Staff is friendly and helpful, and pace of play was very good for a Saturday in high season. Mid and High-Handicappers will appreciate most greens being open in front; while low handicappers can still be challenged from longer tee boxes.
Always on time tee off. Great staff
Have played here many times. Course always in great shape. Staff greats us and friendly. Food and service in clubhouse excellent.
yes
What a great value for $25. Best turf to hit off of in the entire area. We have played 15 courses in Daytona area and this has the best turf and greens combo and friendliest staff around.
Love this place
Been coming here during race week the last 3 years, and it continues to impress. Played another course in the area two days before, and the greens were in horrible shape, but NOT at Cypress Head. Staff is friendly from the time you pull in until the time you leave. Course was very busy when I arrived, but the pace was never overly slow. Course has a great layout and was even more challenging given the amount of wind. I will be back next year for sure!
Great layout
First time playing here, was quite pleased. Overall conditions were very good. Greens were more consistent than normal and firm. Tees and fairways above average. Pace was slow but being a Sunday afternoon was expected. Would not have recommend this course to high handicap players too much water.
tricky greens
Course has a fair layout with a reasonable amount of water. Water in play on approximately 6 holes. Course could use a ranger to keep the pace of play moving. The greens were very speedy if you were putting down grain.. Typical of Florida greens I am guessing.
Good place to play
Conditions were good for February. A lot of tight lies. Greens were very good and a comfortable speed.
Enjoyable.
Course is in very good shape for this time of year. Fairways cut low. Greens are in good shape. Ponds look low - evidently they have not had much rain recently. Some dormant grass. Enough traps and water, but these hazards are not in play too often.
Nice modern clubhouse is good for a drink & sandwich.
Enjoyable
Good public course. Some tricky holes. Some plain holes. Water on 16 of 18 holes with some long carries . Pretty good greens.
nice layout, needs maintenance
Very nice layout through subdivision. Houses do no come into play. Lots of dormant Bermuda, with a touch of overseeing. With a few more maintenance dollars for fertilizer, this could be a very good course. Greens are relatively new, true rolling of putts, but extremely firm for approaching. Overall, worth the trip. Will play again.
