About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Decent public course
The conditions were fine. Nothing was bad, nothing was excellent. Greens were a little slow and sandy. Pace was good. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would play again
Great course!
This is one of our favorites in the area. It's always in great condition, the staff is super friendly and today's pace of play was perfect; we didn't have to wait once, nor have anyone pushing us.

Was our first time playing here. It had good reviews and it lived up to them. Nice track and pace of play was great even though the course was busy. Was it good shape

Perfect except pace of play
We were waiting every hole and no ranger around
It turned out that we were lucky to start at 10. The first 9 appeared to be a lot worse.
All other aspects were great
Course is in good shape for this time of the year.

The greens were much improved with the recent maintenance.
Great shape
This course is always a pleasure to play. It's in great shape all around. Greens putt true. Sand traps give you a chance. Water keeps you honest. The fairways are your friend. As usual, the personnel are friendly and helpful.
Pace of play could be better
The pace of play indicated by the course was 4h18 for 18 holes. We were well within 4h, but still were waiting at every holes. “Ready Golf” was clearly unknown.
Apparently we were still lucky, because we were directed to start at 10. Those starting at 1 needed over 4h30.
Apart from this: Great experience.
Good from Tee to Green
Course is in great shape and they have a starter and rangers. Played 3 times in the past week and all around 4 hours and 15 on the weekend and Friday. Friendly staff and good restaurant. Have not found a better value in Central Florida and it is as nice as LPGA. Thank you Cypress Head

Course was in good shape. Greens are slower than some other higher end courses. Staff was excellent.
