About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6800 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

A nature preserve with a golf course
So many stunning holes! If you enjoy being immersed in nature when playing and not having houses in your line of site on every shot this is a must play course.
It is a great track with plenty of tee box options. We played after 5 inches of rain was dumped by hurricane Nicole. The course was in great condition all things considered!
They have a wonderful practice area & I have had the opportunity to take lessons with David Ladd there. Highly recommend!! Good guy, breaks it down in ways that are relatable. Staff has always been super helpful & friendly.

Terrible course, don't waste your money.
Course looked more like a cow pasture than a golf course.... temporary "greens" cut in the fairways about 120 yards short of the green.... 1 MAN BAND at 9 am... no clubhouse, no nothing.... ASKED for a rain check on the 1st tee... was told NO.
Save your money. Or just go cut some holes in a cow pasture.

A total mess
The course should not be available for booking. The front 9 is currently shut down so only the back 9 is playable. The back 9 is in horrible shape. Tee boxes are awful and there are no greens just browns.

Temp Greens $15.
It’s nice of the course to remain open. Temporary grains or an automatic to put. Looking forward to the reopening with new greens and colors at the end of September.

Pretty difficult course
If you want to play fast greens, this is the place to go!

Shut down back nine
They closed the back nine for the greens but never told me until I was there to pay. Played front nine, twice. Of course when I started on the second nine I had to wait forever since there was multiple foursomes ahead.
