Heritage Landing Golf & Country Club

First time for a super slow round. Played the 18th in total darkness, one in our group still rolled in a 20' putt for his 4 th birdie of the day. Would like to see a combination tee setup for around 6200 yds. Black/Red. Even said that it is relatively wide open design, it's design and length of 2 of the par 3's will have even the better players struggling to play even par.

Also this review in latter part of Feb. the greens were running good on speed 10-11? But we're very firm and not holding as usual. Very good practice area, staff is the best overall I've encountered down here.

Lots of building and infrastructure changes. A great place to move to and be a permanent resident. I play all of the courses around this 30 mile circumstance. It's my favorite.

Challenging and fair golf course. Course conditions are excellent and well manicured.

Course was in great shape! Fun layout and good price.

Wide open course, greens are large but mostly flat. Pace was good but I played very early 7:20.

I played early enough where I wasn’t able to hit range balls. After my round, I hit about 10 balls and a staff member came over and kicked me off saying the range was for pre round only; there was 12 open spaces and 4 golfers hitting.

That really was disappointing as I was there on vacation and wanted to practice a bit.

Overall I was very happy with the experience.

Course was beautiful; my only complaint was that the greens were a little rough and slower than I would have wanted.

This is a hidden gem. Bermuda greens that roll perfectly each hole. Lush fairways.

Scheduled a 2:30 pm Tuesday round as such course fairly open for play and moved right along finishing just before dark a 4 hour round. Everything on course was very good to excellent including plush tees, fairways, and greens. Sand in traps soft and Full. Course fairly wide with some built elevations but very fair in rewarding good shots. Lots of water added to scenic views with some placement requiring precision on shots both off the tee and onto the green. Now the bad. The snack bar and pro shop was closed when we made the turn after nine, no beer card on the back nine either. When we finished our round remaining employees made us feel like we were bothering them and whisked our cart away before I could even retrieve our score card and were rather snippy when I requested they find and return it. Was initially advised it was likely already thrown into the trash and only retrieved it upon my assistance. It seemed like almost every worker left the premises shortly after the last group teed off. It definitely put a damper on an otherwise very enjoyable on course experience.. The greens fee of $70 was very fair given the course conditions however staff needs much work to make the overall experience a very good one.

This challenging course "plays long" if you have to lay up with "safe shots.". Loads of water. Not a whole lot of underbrush or pines. There are palms. you won't see many other players due to the links style course. The greens were faster than the other winter Florida courses I've played this year, but still "winter slowish." The greens were consistent . There is also lots of construction and heavy machinery throughout the sidelines, building various types of new housing in this new country club. The noise didn't bother me. The houses and condos are all far from the fairways. The course design is very nice, too.
