City Of Lauderhill Golf Course
About
Lauderhill Golf Club is a nine-hole course that is ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round, regardless of skill level. The layout features plenty of water and the towering trees also present a challenge. You won't get any chances for driving on this course, but your short game skills will definitely get a workout. This par-30 golf course measures only 1,200 yards from the back tees. You might be surprised by some of the very short holes, including a few that are only 70 yards or so, but it's a fun round if you're looking for something casual. While it may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, Lauderhill G.C. is a great value for the money. It is one of the most affordable golf courses in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Good bang for your buck
This was the perfect course to shake the rust off. Basically a par 3 with a few longer holes. Staff was so friendly. The course layout can be a bit confusing if you are new, but you figure it out quickly. It is a nice 9 hole walking course to start the day, can be played in an hour or so. I have gone back several times on an early Saturday morning. Definitely the best bargain out there.
This is a par three course and should be advertised as such. It was in terrible condition.
Overall
Tee areas were terrible. Rarely found one level. Most were lumpy or had holes. Greens were reasonably good. They only own two riding carts so plan on walking. Even had to wait a half hour extra for rental pull carts to come back in with other people
Great beginners coarse
This was my wifes first time golfing so we chose this coarse for its short play. My wife had a great time and loved it. We are looking forward to golfing there again.
Cosy,not luxory
We love this golf course! Price is ok and course is good for seniors and beginners.
Great course to work on your short game
You had to be pretty accurate but not have to swing too hard to get to the greens. Some very short holes with water hazards. A great course for youth, beginners, seniors and average golfers. It helped improve my short game and gain a little more confidence in my nine iron.
It was definitely getting what you paid for
The course wasn't the best. Holes not clearly marked. But it was value for the dollar.
Friendly staff, the greens are a little rough but nice par 3 course.
Great staff snd a fun course.
Wonderful staff. Course is perfect for practice with fast little greens. Terrific, personable service from beginning to end, and being St Patrick's Day there was free beer after the round. I mean really, all this for $6.00 with no tax charged on a lovely day. Can't be beat. Good for the county for running such a great establishment.
Highly recommended.
Only one problem, Great confusion In course
Small course . Green are really good maintaining. Distance between 100 yards to 200 Yard. Most between 100 an 150. You can loose in the course because there are not signal to get the next hole. For five dollars is a really good options to practice short game
Fun layout a 9 hole exec worth trying
This 9 hole walking course has a mix of par 3 and par 4 with the longest par 4 of 200 yards. It is a small course and their is not much room for fairways or greens so you need to be accurate. You will be using all your clubs up to the 4 iron because each hole is unique and narrow. The condition on the day I played was poor with the greens just being sanded for the summer. I guess the city does not have much money to maintain but for $5 it is better to play and practice here than a driving range as I pretty much had the course to myself. The bunkers were good and the fairways are good enough. Try it, you will like it and I plan to go back.
$9.00- It's better then going to the range
So what to say....the course is super cheap, the same cost for a bucket of balls. So I say, forget the range and go play, that's where your game improves. It's a challenging course, very tight and very short, so for your short game and putting its perfect. It's a dog of a course but I played 18 holes, all but two were par 3's for $9.00, yes that's not a typo, $9 bucks. The two guys I played with really improved there short game, so it works. Bathrooms were clean, walk the course pulling your clubs was fun.
an amazing experience
Was simply amazing playing there. Staff was friendly
Hit them straight
norrow fairways, short Par 4s, can really work on your short game and use wedges.
short course that plays quickly
This course is really short and cramped, and you wouldn't want to put it on a postcard, but at that price, you're never going to find anything better. The narrow fairways force you to keep your shots straight and accurate. Leave your driver at home and be ready to make shots.
