My first time here was 2 years ago and the course shouldn’t have even been open for business. Sunday the course was atleast playable. Some greens still need a lot of work and some fairways had barely any grass to play off it. But this course in my mind went from a 1 star to a 2.5 star. The layout isn’t anything crazy very bland course but once it’s taken better care of I will be back.

Carts are great, more weeds on the fairway & tee boxes than Citrus National, greens are better @

CN, SM’s greens are much worse on the backside. All in all it seems all the courses in the area are having serious grass growth problems, funguses or whatever, it’s certainly not due to a lack of rain so it appears it’s an inability to adapt to certain conditions which no one can master as yet. Certainly NOT WORTH the price they ask unless u get a good deal thru a golf app.

I left last year around May and the course was hurting!!! Bare spots, poor tee boxes and lost greens.

Now coming back I can see the improvements they've started on and are continuing. Keep after it and it'll be a great course to play.

This course is much improved, there are a couple of greens that still need improvement and several of the t boxes are sand not grass but overall much improved. Some small red stakes at the 100 yr markers could help and save playing time as these are often hard to locate.

The golf course has many pluses: first: it has about 6 different sets of tees, from extremely challenging to very short, second, the bunkers are well designed, strategic but not crazy deep, third,the greens are well designed with some undulations, enough to be interesting but not so much to be impossible,Fourth, the course was not busy and play went along very well, Fifth the design is excellent. The staff has done a good job of restoring the course after several hurricanes.

Staff have done a tremendous job of bringing this course back. Most greens are excellent, fairways are constantly improving, and practice area is very good. The layout is also challenging but very fair. Kudos to greens staff and management

It was good to come back to a course that I had played several times. The course had several months of very poor conditions. It was good to see it coming back — making it a place I want to play again. The front 9 was good and to back 9 needs some serious work yet but improving. give it a try.

This course has undergone great improvements over the past year. I’m hoping management keeps it p as it was a lot of fun to play

This course is much improved especially the greens. Many fairways need more grass. I would love to see a red stake at the 100 yr mark. This would also speed up play as they are hard to find. I would be glad to pay for these and put them up.

Overall the course was in good shape considering what little rain we had this past month, most of the greens played slow and some greens still needs work but the majority were in good condition. Definitely would play there again.

Long course in good shape for low money. Will play here again.

The course ( Front 9) is in pretty goood shape, greens overall were good. Could use more but pretty decent overall

The course was better than fair. The $45 fee was a bit high for the round. Although, it is Winter seasion and lunch is included at clubhouse.

I have played here a couple times and brought my 85 year old Dad to play. It was a quiet time of day so we enjoyed playing at our own pace.

We were unable to use the cart we put our clubs on so just put them on the next and we’re on our way. When we finished the first 9 we stopped for a drink and I realized my phone and wallet were in the other cart.

In a panic I went into pro shop and staff had on counter ! The friendliness and honesty along with our fun round will not soon be forgotten!
