Indian River Preserve Golf Club

First time I played here. Almost didn’t because the reviews are so bad. Decided for $25 why not. People love to complain haha for $25 it wasn’t bad at all. Sure the fairways could use some work on probably like 25% of the course. Tee boxes maybe 60% of them need to be redone but the course is very playable and has some good scoring holes throughout. Would I pay anything more then $35-40 to play on a weekend? Nah probably not but for the $20-30 they ask during the week. No one should be leaving any bad reviews. Some of you hit the ball 20-30 yards off the fairway saying “the rough is too deep” maybe if you didn’t hit the 3rd cut rough every shot the game would be a little more enjoyable. I shot under my handicap (14) first time playing, not knowing the layout so I would say it’s a solid course for anything under $35. Once the tee boxes and fairways are back they can charge close to $50 on the weekends no problem. Bar is awesome btw!

Nice course a little long from the forward tees, but enjoyed it and will play again. Some minor 'spots' on the greens, but farways and tee boxes where as good as any around.

Course is in very poor shape. Bunkers had no sand, weeds, and were muddy. Fairways and tee boxes were poor. Greens were best shape of anything but very dry. Course definitely need a lot of attention.

The staff and facilities off the course were very nice.

The tee area, fairways and roughs were in terrible shape. I think conditions may have been the worst I’ve ever played in Florida. Most of the greens were in good shape though.

I liked the layout and appreciated the multiple sets of tee options.

All of the staff members were pleasant and attentive.

It seems they had an issue with maintenance staffing but they really let the course go. I’d like to play it again if conditions improve drastically but for now, I would not recommend anyone play here.

The course was in trash conditions. Not a bunker worth hitting out of. There were big tall weeds in the fairway. The tee boxes were half grass and half dirt and half weeds lol

The greens were decent but the courts itself is probably in the worst conditions ever out in the fairways there’s giant patches of grass growing to the point where my ball would not roll it would just stop also the location of the chorus just isn’t necessarily the best a lot of the times mosquitoes are absolutely at its worst but again that’s not something that you can really help.

I paid $25 for a teatime at 5:40 in the afternoon with two tournaments going on I paid for 18 holes and only got to play 13

Course slipping downhill fast. New Management will have to get all hands on deck for snowbirds. Locals will tough it out until then. Price made it tolerable.

Wow! What happened to this once nice course? The greens were decent but the rest is complete Goat Ranch. The driving range was all dort with scattered weeds. The fairways we're so bad with some huge weeds you could actually lose a ball. It will a long time before I play here. Please fix this place back to a nice course. The layout has always been cool. One tee box we had to tee off up front due to broken sprinkler flooding the box. Another we had to tee off because the sprinklers were running at 2:30. Very sad to see.

Unfortunately, this once was a classy, premium course that now more closely resembles a goat ranch. There are weeds everywhere, the maintenance staff are barely keeping it mowed, the driving range is a joke (no grass to hit from - only weeds). Cart paths are shoddy at best, and even the carts are jerky and ragged.

Still a great layout, and I understand there is a new management company that just took over, but it will take years to recover, and only if people are willing to invest. I truly hope they recover, but I will not be visiting again - plenty of better options within a 30 minute drive.

Staff and restaurant were great, though!

I liked the course and the staff was great. However the tee boxes was in terrible shape. They should be in way better shape than I saw that day. Awful tee boxes. They should be embarrassed. Until they fix.them, I will not be back there.

Discourse used to be one of the nicest courses in Central Florida now it's just a cow pasture whoever owns it needs to sell it and let somebody come in there that knows golf courses and take care of it and bring it back

There is no greens keeper on staff and boy does it show. Fairways have weeds thru out.

They haven't been mowed in weeks.

Dead spots every where in the fairways.

Tee boxes are all tore up very little grass

Greens are in fair condition very slow.

I would not recommend to anyone.
