I was not impressed with the course conditions. Fairways and tee boxes were beat up.

Fun, but challenging.
Love this layout. Challenging and fair. Wind was 14-20 knots, so today was extra hard. Greens look bad and are very thin, but they were fast and putted well.
Summer will see this course get better for sure. Food service was excellent.
Worth the drive. I have played here many times.
Thank you for your great review! You are correct in identifying the greens and fairways being a little thin as we near the end of the busy winter season. However, the crew has been working extremely hard to have everything in place for some major growth to take off when temperatures arrive. We're also dredging the lakes to make sure they are cleaned up and beautiful!

Wow!!
Probably the toughest course I’ve played in a decade! The wind was 20mph , but the fairways were generous! The greens were very receptive, but probably the most difficult greens I’ve ever read!!! This course made me realize how difficult the pros have and how talented they are! The fairways could use a little thicker grass, but it is February...may be thicker in the spring/summer! I will try my luck again!!

We anticipate the fairways to grow in thick as soon as temperatures reach the growing point. We have put a lot of fertilizer in the ground so as soon as spring hits everything will take off and grow fast!

Friendly staff gets you going. Front nine
sets you up for the more difficult back, although the 9th is no slouch. Conditions
are rough in spots including tee boxes. It
is winter and it appears they are working to improve so they get a pass.
Interesting and challenging layout with numerous forced carries and water ready
to gobble errant shots.Shotmakers course.

We have been fertilizing and working diligently to have everything ready for growing season this spring!

Tough track and nice design

Good value could be higher if not for conditions. A little rough in spots but they seem to be working on it. A shame they will surround the course with homes...
Thank you for your honest feedback and review! The crew is working very hard to have the course ready for growing season this spring. We expect that as soon as we get some warmer temperatures we will see a lot of growth. We have put a lot of work into making sure the nutrients and fertilizers are in the soil in anticipation of warmer temperatures.
Worth the dirve
its a little off the beaten path but worth it. I had not seen teh course as Walkabout but know they like so many others had financing issues. The course is coming around to those that know the old conditions. Greens are good, fairways, tees, bunkers will take some time.
This is a very challenging course if you want to shoot a good number. That said , most although not all , have bail out areas for those more timid or less aggressive or talented.
I will be going back soon and suggest you give it a try.

Difficult course.
Lot’s of water in play, especially back nine. Greens decent, really fast down grain and downhill. Pin setter must have had a fight w wife day we played. 4-6 holes in very difficult, some unfair positions. Always a test to play again.

Nice but
Course is a nice layout. It does need some work and it appears they are trying. Greens seemed to be painted green.
Thank you for the review! The team is definitely working hard to try and improve the golf course. Every growing season we are getting better. The color you saw on the greens is indeed a dye, however it is used when we spray fertilizer and herbicides on the golf course so that the crew can see the areas they have already sprayed in order to get the right amount of chemical down.

Good Value Good Layout. Conditions Improving
This is another course struggling for money maintenance but since I played 10 months ago conditions have dramatically improved. The greens are good pace is medium
The layout has some fine holes a couple of duds but very enjoyable but difficult. Hey, if it was easy everyone would play it !

Starter needs kicked in the nuts
Person pretending to be the starter needs a good kick to the nuts. First tee box 6 groups deep. All various tee times. First 12 holes literally had 4 groups on each hole. Course in avg at best condition. Fun lay out being mismanaged.

We apologize you did not have a good experience at the club. We had beautiful weather this weekend the course was certainly full. Our team works hard to get everyone off the tee on time and I apologize if we did not meet your expectations. We will work to up the frequency of our ranger laps in order to speed up play on busy days.
Amazing golf course
This golf course was a very nice place to golf. The staff was friendly, fairways were wide, greens were nice, and overall a great place to go golfing!!!
