About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Enjoyable layout
Although this is a short yardage course, the layout makes it fun to play. The only minor hold up in the pace of play was the two par 3s at the end of the front nine. The greens were in good shape and the majority of the course was also.
No 3 can be a tough call without a decent drive.
The course was in very good condition. Pace of play for my twosome was good.
Play Smart Course
Great track but a little on the narrow side! The course offers a lot of holes with risk reward choices. Unless you have your A game, i would recommend staying on the conservative side. I got in more trouble making aggressive bad decisions.
Course is in great shape overall and the best greens I have played on during this time of year!
Well maintained - but BUSY!
Got a GREAT deal on GolfNow - but would have been nice to know that the course was hosting an amatuer event that weekend - and the course was overrun with amatuers who were walking. What should have been a 3 1/2 hour round turned into a 5 hour round. Cart was very rough - low battery and tricky steering. Barely made it back to the clubhouse after 18 holes. Tried to trade it in after nine - but no carts were available.

The course is in good shape, better than a month ago and getting better. This is a fun and challanging track which will be enjoyable for any level golfer. The Staff was very friendly and overall we had a great time.
Greens were especially nice
It was pretty chilly to start but warmed up quickly. Greens were full and rolling true. Got behind a slow threesome so had some waiting involved. Beer was cold at the 19th hole.

Excellent shape and challenging layout!!!!
Awesome condition. Big undulating greens!! But the layout is very challenging. I would recommend most players to play the member tees which is marked on the scorecard ( combination on blue and white tees). Only very low handicaps should attempt the back tees. The pace of play was slow but that is attributed to the very nice course at a very good value. Just take your time and enjoy the beautiful landscape and views!!!! A++

Course was very interesting. There was enough challenge to make it interesting and the course was in quite good shape. I'm glad that I played the blues, whites may have been too easy.
Quicker greens would have made the experience much more enjoyable.
Awesome
Awesome course greens were PGA greens I've made this my home course. I play every Fri. An I've play a lot of courses in the area an this is by far the best for the money. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall a great course.
It was cart path only on the day I played due to rain but the course was in great condition. The sand traps were a little compacted, addition of new sand would help.
Challenging but enjoyable!
Had a lot of rain previous evening, I would like to believe that had definite impact on my score! Cart path only, resulted in slower pace of play. Very litle roll out on fairways. Have played this course before, when conditions were better. Fun to play, challenge for a bogey plus golfer!! Staff very helpful and upbeat!!

Course in very good shape
Overall the course was excellent, pro shop was friendly. Light crowd but it was a Wednesday. Food service was very slow even though we called ahead at the 8th hole so it would be ready.
Great Location and Neat Track
This course is in a great location and has some nice holes and layouts. I really enjoyed the course and the staff was friendly. Great Value!
One of my favorite courses
I went to the course on 12/30 but I had mistakenly booked my tee time for 12/31. They allowed us to play anyway. Great staff. course is well maintained, especially the greens for this time of year.

Super friendly staff, very accommodating after heavy downpour in the morning. Course is in great shape, pace of play was outstanding and great food in the clubhouse! I will play at Fleming Island again very soon
