Fleming Island Golf Club

Played the day after some heavy rain, and it was surprising the range was even open. Tee boxes were a little rough but all 18 greens were in really great shape. Left putts short all day because of how slow they were, but it was nice to not putt over huge areas of sand like other courses in the area.

Overall good condition. Enough grass on the fairways so I wasn't hitting off bare lies all day and the greens were very smooth if a little slow. Plenty of water and enough 'natural' areas with very unforgiving palmettos so some shot making is required. Not overly long, a couple of very short par 4's to help the handicap and a couple of more challenging length (read as par 4 on the card, par 5 for me). Very pretty course and I enjoyed the round. Just under 3 1/2 hours even though it was a 'cart path only' day. I'll play it again and would recommend it unless you're really looking for a true resort course.

The course was in good shape. Some of the greens were a little worn, but overall it is a wonderful course that requires you to be an accurate player. The staff was wonderful as always and I would come back and play anytime. Unfortunately, the day I played it rained, thundered, lightning and hailed so bad, I left after 9 holes.

Compared to other courses in the area for this time of year, this course was in great shape. The greens played nicely and the whole course was healthy. It is a forgiving course with a good layout. The only drawback was that there was no cart going around offering drinks and snacks.

Course has suffered over the Winter as have they all! Greens in great shape. Lots of hard pan lies in the fairways.

Greens were slow/shaggy but lush and well maintained.
Really enjoy the layout and variety of holes.
One of my favorite courses in the area.

Great value for the money. Played 8am on day 1 of our 3 day golf weekend. Morning round was just over 4 hours, but the afternoon round got backed up and played much slower, 5+ hours. Course was in very good condition and greens were excellent. Nice layout. Challanging but scoreable. Pro shop, Starter, and beer girl were all Great ! Very friendly staff. Would highly reccomend this course.

Good layout overall. There are several challenging holes from the longer sets of tees. Greens roll nicely. There is a nice combo of blue/white tees on the card for players who want a bit more yardage than the white tees allow.

Staff friendly, greens in very good condition, fairways a little sparce but that is no different than the majority of courses this Winter.

Despite a rainy day ; we appreciate this inland course . Challenging course which require accurate shot.

Course dries quickly after rain the previous day. A few branches blown down by the recent wind.

Course was in.great shape. Not an avid golfer so was a little challenging but overall it is a great place to play.

Course is in great shape, excellent green and tee surfaces. Cart path muddy at time, but since you don't play from the path it is not an issue. Course personnel were helpful and friendly. For the dollar it is a good value, and I will be back to this golf venue.

Although this is a short yardage course, the layout makes it fun to play. The only minor hold up in the pace of play was the two par 3s at the end of the front nine. The greens were in good shape and the majority of the course was also.

The course was in very good condition. Pace of play for my twosome was good.

Great track but a little on the narrow side! The course offers a lot of holes with risk reward choices. Unless you have your A game, i would recommend staying on the conservative side. I got in more trouble making aggressive bad decisions.
Course is in great shape overall and the best greens I have played on during this time of year!

Got a GREAT deal on GolfNow - but would have been nice to know that the course was hosting an amatuer event that weekend - and the course was overrun with amatuers who were walking. What should have been a 3 1/2 hour round turned into a 5 hour round. Cart was very rough - low battery and tricky steering. Barely made it back to the clubhouse after 18 holes. Tried to trade it in after nine - but no carts were available.
