Fleming Island Golf Club
About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Course was in great condition and is challenging
This course is a nice track with some nice holes. A nice place to play.
They recently sand the greens which is expected this time of the year. The fee was reduced to $20.00 a round that made it worth while.
Fleming Island always has their course ready to play. Just like any course in the area, proper care sometimes is a inconvience but I wouldn't have it any other way. You appreciate their efforts to provide each player the opportunity for a good round of golf.
Love Fleming Island
Fleming Island has the best fairways of any course I play in N. Florida, by far. The greens are very good, but those fairways are a thing to behold. Beautiful surroundings, great layout and very nice clubhouse. This is a long golf course though. I play from the blue tees and it's driver-mid to short iron on the par fours and laying up on all the par fives. I especially love it when I can get the low Golf Now rates to play there. It tempts me into going every time I see a $13 or $15 tee time. I'll stop whatever I'm doing and pack up the golf clubs.
Great Location, nice lay out
Have played many times and it is always enjoyable. Great location and pace of play is comfortable.
great conditions
I play all the courses in Clay county and Fleming Island is always in top shape. This is my favorite course.
Fun to play
Nice course. Interesting hole design.
Good value on the green fees.
The couse was fun to play.
The speed of the round was excellent, the greens were in good shape and the tee boxes were better than averge. I enjoyed playing the course and will certainly return at a future date.
Staff was very nice
I felt the course was in decent condition, however could have better signage as far as where the next holes are. I have played a great deal of golf, but found the direction a bit confusing.
This course has holes with character
Nice place great price we have found the pace of play a bit slow. Happy to play again. Very friendly people operate this course
Great staff and very well maintained golf course.
I have been golfing for about a year and a half. During that time I have played on about nine or ten different courses in the Orange Park Jacksonville area. This is my favorate. I love this course for many reasons. I thought a course this nice would be very difficult but my two best rounds have been here. The course is not to challenging and very well maintained. The staff is the best. I got lost my first time going there. I wanted to get there early so I could hit some balls before I started. I got there right at my tee time. The gentleman at the desk told me to relax, take my time and hit some balls before I start. I am glad I have been given the opportunity to write a review. Last time I golfed here I was upset with myself for not going back to the office when I was done to tell them how much I appreciate them.
Overpriced value for price
Will not go back. Staff were fine, actually quite friendly. Cart girl was nice. Course was not much to look at, though. It was pretty easy as far as water or bunker play. Although, the bunkers were in horrible condition when I was there. There were MANY dry patches on the fairway and the greens. I've played on $26 courses that were better maintained. I'd say look elsewhere...
Fun course
This course was a very fun and fair layout. When I played the course was soaking wet, due to storms the day before, but it was still in great shape. The green were pretty good but were pretty slow. Overall, this is a good course for the money (I paid $20).
One of my Favorite
Course is always as good or in better shape than most courses in the area. Rate is fare and pace of play is decent. The staff is always friendly as are the people in the food venue and the ground staff. I like to play other courses for a change of pace, but this is my go to course.
Almost 5 hours is way too long.
My threesome happened to play on a damp course day. We played by the rules - cart path only - which slows down play. However the foursome behind us were riding all over the course and riding our butts. We kept up with the foursome in front of us but were constantly being pushed. Where was the Ranger?
Outstanding
Course nicely maintained. This time of year course aerate greens. Greens already getting smooth. Fairways always been super as well as staff, club house to bar area. Could ask for a more pleasant outing.
