About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Le meilleur et le plus beau de la région
Magnifique terrain demande beaucoup de finesse pour jouer surtout sur les verts
Starter was fine, cart guys were good. Pace of play was satisfactory. No complaints
Pace of play
Invariably we get placed with or behind the same older gentleman who walks and carries his clubs plays 3 tee boxes too far back and by the 5th hole he’s slowing down the entire course behind him, he then tries to catch up by walking in front of his group and I’ve been grouped with him and gets up ahead of the person trying to take their next shot causing a distraction and safety issue, during this round we had to finish the last 2 holes in the dark if you’re grouped with or behind him get a raincheck it’s too frustrating, especially since no one seemed to have addressed this
Windy Day
The course was in good shape, but the 2-3 club wind made for a tough day. Clubhouse was closed. We still enjoyed the day.
Excellent Value
Great course with a great layout. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was a single who got put into a group- they were fun and good golfers. Pace of play was a little slow, but otherwise a great experience.
Duran - Duran
2 weeks after a hard freeze in the area. Freeze dried trees, shrubs and grass. Rolled ok.
Slow play
Course is well laid out. The pace of play is slow and you never see a Marshall getting after slow players.
Great Course, Grass needs help
I really think this is the best golf course in the area. But like the others the grass is dormant right now. But still a great play. Greens and bunkers are in good shape. No beverage cart service, no gps in cart.
Not a bad course but…
Course is fine; However, no leadership or oversight!! Five hour round, no ranger or course advisor to assist. Club house and bath rooms closed at 5:20 pm. Staff must be present for the full day and engaged. Bright spots were cart girl and older gentleman at the register at check in. All others not good…short on carts until near tee off time. Also numerous eccentric pin positions, not consistent or at times unfair!! Could be a great course, leadership and people issues must be resolved, running a golf course is not splitting the atom!! You all can do much repeat much better!!!
