About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Not a bad course but…
Course is fine; However, no leadership or oversight!! Five hour round, no ranger or course advisor to assist. Club house and bath rooms closed at 5:20 pm. Staff must be present for the full day and engaged. Bright spots were cart girl and older gentleman at the register at check in. All others not good…short on carts until near tee off time. Also numerous eccentric pin positions, not consistent or at times unfair!! Could be a great course, leadership and people issues must be resolved, running a golf course is not splitting the atom!! You all can do much repeat much better!!!
Bad experience
Played this week and left my rangefinder in the golf cart. Of course when I called the course they didn’t find it. I don’t trust the guy cleaning the cart. Probably already has it up for sale on eBay! Won’t be back! Watch out
Duran Golf Club was very nice and met—if not exceeded—my expectations. The practice facility is awesome, and the course itself is in great condition. Challenging holes, wide fairways, which made the round a lot of fun and very enjoyable.
As others have mentioned, pace of play can be slow at times, but the couple of times I’ve played here it wasn’t too bad at all. The staff was awesome, and they also have a happy hour—if I remember correctly, Monday through Thursday from 3–5 PM with drinks half off. You can’t beat that.

you need to have rangers speeding up play. 4hrs 40 min. is outrageous
Good course but slow
I play here quite often but at this time of year you have to think twice about it. Between Snowbirds (EVERYWHERE) and walkers we are 4 hours into our round and have 4 holes left to play. Get out early and buy a can of Patience before your round.
Great Course with Nice Layout
One of the best golf courses in Brevard county with nice friendly staff.
holes on edge of green and on slope
the past years Duran has been conssitently putting their holes on slopes and edge of the greens
i asked the workers about it, they said the green keeper does it to get revenge and laughs about it

Course Vs clubhouse
One of the best courses in Brevard county, however the bar is small not many good choices.
Duran GC, Viera, FL
Excellent course despite aeration of greens. Course was wet in some low areas, but overall in great condition - some fairways were cart path only. Enjoyable round, majority of greens are reachable in 2 shots.
