About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Over booked!
Arrived for 2:06 tee time. Sixteen old ladies waiting to start. 1.5 hours for three holes so we drove ahead and jammed packed. Course gave a rain check but we simply wanted to play. Disappointed, course looks great.
Losing Greens
Something is wrong with the greens, every hole about a third of each green is dead, nothing but dirt. Fairways and rough were not over seeded so they’re brown and very thin. Way over priced for course condition,
Great unless it has rained
Great unless it has rained A very enjoyable course only problem is if it has rained significantly there is cartpath only on a fair number of holes. This will slow the pace of play. That is the only drawback to this course. If you call ahead of time and know that it is cartpath only, bring a walking cart.
8 some
Greeted by friendly staff, very nice pro shop, course layout decent with a few really nice holes, some greens issues but putts ran true , nice tee boxes and fairways. I would play this course again if it was 20-30 dollars less. I have played golf for 37 years and never experienced playing behind an 8 some, 2 very slow 4somes ahead of my group all day joined together and played the last 8 holes as an 8 some. It took 45 minutes to play 2 holes. Cmon peeople, show a little respect for your fellow golfers out there.
Tee Box
One thing I didn't like is the tee box when you are facing high long grass about 2 feet in front of you, lost 3 balls on that grass, you need to take 8 iron to get out of the tee box, they should cut this high grass so you can see the fairway and enjoy your round

I received 10 emails giving me the option to rate this course and round I kept deleting them but after about the 10th one in at least two weeks later you keep sending them so I finally did the rating thanks God bless
