Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Greeted by friendly staff, very nice pro shop, course layout decent with a few really nice holes, some greens issues but putts ran true , nice tee boxes and fairways. I would play this course again if it was 20-30 dollars less. I have played golf for 37 years and never experienced playing behind an 8 some, 2 very slow 4somes ahead of my group all day joined together and played the last 8 holes as an 8 some. It took 45 minutes to play 2 holes. Cmon peeople, show a little respect for your fellow golfers out there.

Tee Box

One thing I didn't like is the tee box when you are facing high long grass about 2 feet in front of you, lost 3 balls on that grass, you need to take 8 iron to get out of the tee box, they should cut this high grass so you can see the fairway and enjoy your round

Tees, fairways and greens were in great shape Fairways we’re pretty wide open, some off the fairways areas we’re not as manicured as they could have been. Overall pace of play was good. We will definitely be playing Duron again

Very Nice Layout

We teed off at 1 pm and were hoping we'd get the whole round in before early darkness this time of year. No problem. Moved well. The course layout.is very nice and in good shape overall. The greens are fairly large and ran fast and true and were in good shape. The bunkers are well place and have nice white sand with rakes easily available. The fairways are fairly wide and forgiving. Water enters into the game on several holes including the 18th that doglegs right round a lake to the green. The clubhouse is lovely and offers a well stocked pro shop. The staff is very helpful and easy going. Just a nice place to play golf. Enjoy.
