Walk on
Wanted to work on my game and this course did it for me. I always seem to find my focus when playing this tough course and it's always fun.
Perfect place to get back in the swing of things
I hadn't played in several months so my expectations of my own play were very low. And while I lived up to those low expectations, I found the course to be the perfect place to play. There aren't any lengthy drives, but what this course lacks in distance it makes up for with a excellent conditions and a beautiful setting. Weather was literally perfect, although I imagine in the middle of summer it may get a bit too hot.
First time playing course
I enjoyed the layout. The pace was a little slow
But not bad for a holiday.
Good practice for mid to short irons.
Enjoyed walking the course, but need to bring something to drink. No water or bathroom on the course.
Disappointed
Purchased round through you on 10/12 and played on 10/14. After we checked in and paid cart fees we were informed that we had to play the back nine twice due to aerating the front. Also, the same was being done to half of each green on back nine. They at least should have informed us of this prior to paying the money (normal customer service) so as to decide whether to play or not. I mentioned this to the clerk who just shrugged it off. Also, why was this not noted on your system that the aerate process was being done and discounted etc.
great course if managed well
The back nine was closed for airification, but we were not told that when we booked it. The holes had not been moved in so long that the grass was growing into the cup. The greens and fairways needed mowing. The sand traps have no sand, have grass throughout and the edges need to be trimmed. While we played the course in under four hours, the pace of play for this executive course was really not great due to half of the course being closed.
Great course that just needs love.
Nice Executive Course
The setting for this executive course is tough to beat. The course and greens were in very good shape. The course is somewhat challenging and requires accurate shots. Very little room for error. Fun course.
Great value and condition of Course
Greens and general conditions in great shape. I hadn't played here in a year or so and was happily surprised.
Par 3 Practice
Fun executive course, fun for all levels, can't beat the price for 18 holes in SoCal.
Improved in all regardsd
I have always thought that the folks in the clubhouse could be a little more friendly. This time, they were. That made the difference for me. Also, the price was right. I only paid $22.00 for 18 holes and the cart. Reidy Creek is a 3-par course and should not be charging regular golf course prices. It has kept me away in the past. I like the changes a lot!
lCondition
This course will always be in great condition because ilt is a City sponsored course and it gets its abundance of water from recycled City water.
Great Par 3 course
First time playing course, we were very pleased with the layout of the track kind of a smaller version of Talega in OC. Very friendly staff members and nice facilities. A great course to sharpen your irons and putting skills. Definitely will return to play even though we live in the OC, and will recommend to friends and other fellow golfers....One of our group Aced the #2 hole!
Good times for beginners
Great course for beginners...provides enough challenging holes for those of us who need a little push to try something other than our pitching wedge or 8 iron :) Greens are well kept and surroundinfs are peaceful, but watch out for the gutsy ducks...they will come right to you and beg for your potato chips!
Great Value
Built into a housing development and slightly rolling hills, Reidy Creek is a gem of a par 54. I used every iron in my bag and was challenged by varying layouts and hazards from hole to hole. We were quite tuckered after walking the 18. It seemed to play longer than its yardage, yet every hole was a fair challenge for a par 3.
Perfect Day
Celebrated my friends birthday on the course. Great condition and keeps your short game in check. Will be back again to post a better score.
Super fun par 3
This course is fun! Some holes are narrow, some are surrounded by bunkers, some have water.some up hill, some down hill.If you shoot straight you will be fine. This course improves my short game, and greens are challenging. Its one of my favorite courses.I don't care if you never break out your woods. Its just a super fun course!
Good course for short game practice.
Great course for juniors and intermediate levels of play. Can play all holes with irons. Greens are large and fast. You can definately 3 put if not careful.
Best Executive Course in San Diego County
Several of the Executive Courses in San Diego County require substantial attention to make their experience a truly enjoyable one. Reidy Creek is not your ordinary Executive Course. Yes, it is a Pitch and Putt, but the course layout is well thought-out and the greens are also challenging. Great experience and I truly recommend this course to everyone.
A nice little course close to the heart of town
This was my first time playing Reidy Creek. I was a little disappointed at first because they told me the back 9 was closed, but as I came around to the turn the marshal was coming through to tell us it had just opened up. I'm really glad he did too because the back 9 was fun and it definitely isn't the same doubling up on the front 9 rather than playing all 18.
The course was in good shape. Not too challenging, but some small elevation changes and a few hazards to avoid here and there. Overall I enjoyed the course and would go back again if looking for something quick, close and cheap.
