its coming around
I'm happy to write a pleasant review. Three months ago I was furious to pay full price for the dry and dying conditions, with punched and sandy greens to top it off. The course is still more yellow that green on most holes, but its yellow grass as opposed to dirt and dead lies. If you're able to be in the fairways you'll find more good lies than poor. The tee boxes are not perfect but you're likely playing off of a tee, so it shouldn't matter. Every tee box was level. The greens are in fantastic shape but happened to be a little bumpy today. I imagine tomorrow they will be mowed. I found some putts that weren't affected by the bumpies and the ball rolls very true and on the right line with the right speed will find the bottom of the cup. I gave it four stars on course conditions because of the greens being healthy, and the fairways, even if yellow, offered great lies. $44.95 with cart at 7:50am on Tuesday, via GolfNow
Beautiful Wednesday
Beautiful day, beautiful course. A little slow play because everyone was out enjoying the day.
Course is in rough shape
The course was in pretty shabby condition. Probably the worst I’ve ever played it in the last 15 years. The tee boxes were mostly OK, the fairways were largely torn up, the rough was horrible, it was too wet in many spots , and the greens were just OK (with a few in very good shape, others covered in duck droppings) The bunkers were pretty much junk. I got the impression that the maintenance team was down to bare bones, just doing the minimum to get by.
Meh
This place is overrated for $65 person they are charging on weekends. It's been a dry winter so far but still the amount of dead yellow grass everywhere was more than expected. At least half the tee boxes were in sub-par condition. No GPS in carts. There are so many divots on this course because they don't give you sand in carts either. We were not the fastest group but not painfully slow either, however the Marshal was on us from hole 6 to 11 barking about our pace trying to get us to skip a hole. He nearly got a 7-iron to the head. Very rude as the group behind us was rarely ever waiting more than a few minutes on the tee box. We finished our round in 4.5 hours which I don't think is ridiculous considering how busy courses are these days. You can tell which courses are re-investing all the money they are raking in this year. This is not one of them. Go play elsewhere
Fun course. Not fun people
I can't fault the golf course or staff, but players have some issues with etiquette. I was stuck by a golf ball because players behind us were hitting into us. We were slowed down from players who were playing from the blue tees, but couldn't drive the ball more than 200 yards. We ended up waiting at almost every hole. The folks in front of us actually yelled at us for "bothering them" because we had an amazing 45 foot putt and celebrated it with one loud "woohoo". Actually yelled at us and still played from the blues to only hit shots sub-200 yards.
The pace on the course is very slow. You might get hit into and yelled at by people who are the reason you can't finish a round in less than 6 hours... Oh and they stole a golf ball from one of my mates. Awesome course. People... Not so much.
Pleasantly surprised
I’ve never played the track but some friends of mine had. They said it was a good layout I must admit I really enjoyed it will definitely be back. My only complaint was I teed off at 6:20 the course was pretty wet and it was cold. I know next time to wait until about 9 o’clock before starting that way the sun will of warmed everything up
very thin grass on the fairways in some places. overly tight landing areas that often run off the fairways on a good tee shot

Liked the course. The fairways were painted green so it looked more lush than I’m sure it was. But nonetheless the grass seemed healthy and very playable which puzzled me why they’re painting it.

I was charged for 3 people because two of my friends couldn’t make it. But they filled the spots with singles. Since the spots were filled I don’t think I should be charged.
Good round
Course was in average condition. Expected it to be a little better considering the weather we have been having. Greens in the morning were not dew-swept or mowed, so they were a bit inconsistent until they evaporated after an hour or so. Some lies in the fairway were not on anything that looked like grass - mostly dirt, or wayyyyy over watered and muddy.
Still the experience was good+. Just expected a little more.
Driving range was finally open, and you could purchase balls. They even had us on the grass (not mats) portion.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Worth the price charged for a senior.
