River Ridge Golf Club - The Vineyard Course

First time playing the course, pretty nice layout but the conditions were not up to par. Greens were good and rolled very true but the rest of the course was pretty rough, probably because of the water shortage. Traps actually had sand in them so a big plus for that. However, 11th hole had fairway bunkers that looked like they hadn’t been raked in years. Had to actually move the ball out of holes in the sand. The signage also is in severe need of improvement. When you’ve never played the course it’s impossible to see which cart path you’re supposed to follow for the next hole. On this day they had actually closed off the final 5 holes of the Ridge Course and substituted 5 holes on the Lakes course but there was no signage whatsoever telling us where we were supposed to pick up that course that was completely across the stree! Those ended up being the best holes of the day however. All in all a pretty disappointing experience but I guess that’s what to be expected for a Golf Now price.

Loved everything about it except the driving range is a little dated

Got lucky for a Sunday 6:30am tee time booking the day before. Perfect weather and was sent off to play in a two some. Greens and fairways in good condition.

The greens were bumpy and need to be rolled ,

The sand traps were not sand traps they were concrete mixed with gravel, On a scale 1-10 I would rate them a cool 1. really bad for a course to allow them to get to be that bad., the sand wedge would not break the crust of the concrete. I dug in to 1 trap and it was about 3/4 " with some sort of gravel.. Not a happy camper with the shape of the course as it is presently, Buena Ventura and Olivas are 10x better shape than RiverRidge

Pace of play on a holiday Sunday was surprisingly good and we encountered several "Ambassadors" which was nice to see...

Overall course condition on the fairways is a bit scruffy, but not overly so given the price per round...

Greens were in good shape except for the knucklehead players who don't repair their pitch marks... Kudos to the greenskeepers keeping them nice...

All in all, a pleasant day at the course & we'll be back soon!

Great day at the course! Nice play to play. Much needed bathroom updates along the course. Best cart-lady around. She was wonderful.

Take this review with a grain of salt, if money means nothing to you keep scrolling. But as a struggling college student who’s been frequenting this course for the past 7 years. I urge you to be ware of their new riding fees. If you book a hot deal on golf now or any other site and think your getting a deal. Think again, if you plan on getting a cart. They charge $16 a person. NOT per cart, i.e $32/2some $64/4some. So, expect a significant expense to ride. Also keep in mind that these carts don’t have gps, and you have to make sure you grab you scorecards and pencils before you tee off.

I love playing Victoria lakes. The layout is challenging and makes you use an array of shots. Can't beat the weather anytime I play.

Played Victoria Lakes Course today. Love the layout with the water coming into play on a few holes, only being penalized on bad or wrong side of fairway shots. Holes are layed out in a way to always have path for a safe play with the risky one. Also like all the elevation changes tee to green. Throughout the course did not have any major issues with course conditions. Greens were great held all approach shots, seamed little fast but fair. Fairways were not perfect with few gur spots on edges, but did land in any. The one bunker I found, little hard and rocky sand. Every time I play this course I have enjoyed it from the staff, layout, and weather.
