It's a great course.Great layout, and only great price

The staff's always friendly, but they look like a bunch of potheads, and apparently they don't verify.Who's supposed to be playing what times what groups are together?Yesterday we saw a guy just walk out there and say, yeah, they don't pay attention.I just walked out here to join my group of eight in eight summer

Many ways this course is great.Starting to go downhill, though way too many homeless everywhere, almost every single hole homeless.I watched at least ten people walk through the golf course on their dirty bikes on their dirty bodies, with no care.In the world

So becoming a little bit annoying, dangerous and dirty

I had fun. Pretty challenging when the wind is roaring

Good conditions (usually true) despite bouts of heavy rains and then wind over last few weeks. Greens and fairways are well kept.

Has never had much by way of amenities and even less now with some temporary space but doesn’t take away from the playability at least.

Easy to recommend and tee choices allow various skill levels

But had a disappointing round

Hard to find a course where you can make your dog part of your golf party. Pretty cool. We teed off at 115 on a Tuesday. Pace of play was very slow. Took five hours. Fairways are in great shape. Club house is apparently under construction. Went to the temporary club house at the turn, they had no bottled water. Price for the round was very reasonable.

Pace of play is always horrible, I played today, got to the 10th hole and there were two groups of four waiting on the tee box. The original group jumped ahead of the “slow group”. My group stayed behind them for hole ten and 11. From the time my group got to the 11th tee box to the time we got to the 11th green was a total of a half hour. We called the pro shop…. They said we were the 4th group to call about them, they had no Marshalls. We skipped past the 12th hole all together to pass them. The new group in front of us were two holes ahead of us. The pro shop refused to refund money.

let's just say if i own the place, i will add front building with restaurant and nice bathroom. also i will layout design with some water holes, cause i don't see any waters anywhere during play. like each hole has different layout.

and of course, weather s perfect.

Okay there’s not to much links around but this one’s pretty fun. Yeah there were some bums, litterally bums around the outskirts of the course. Freaked me out seeing someone living in the bush, but the weather in Oxnard was amazing and made up for it. This is a great course to walk.

Course wasn't bad, greens were cleaned and trimmed. Negative starts on the pro club bathroom. OLIVAS BUY A NEW BATHROOM TRAILER. (yes the bathroom is a modular trailer). It's like 7/11 met Arco, had a kid and abandoned it in the woods. Viola, The Olivas Bathroom, the floor is torn to see the subfloor urinals are stained black but are white, the handle to the sink was broken. Trash it and buy another. Oh yeah, and we had some strong winds on the course, that was actually fun to navigate through.
