Green condition
There are still some sand left on the greens but playable. Overall it’s fairly great condition.
Surprised!
Haven’t played this course in a few years as it fell into disrepair. Was surprised at the condition now. Obviously, the rains helped but the greens were perfect…and difficult. I look forward to getting back up there!
Enjoyable round
Pacing was great. Course was in good condition overall. Some of the greens were a bit uneven and unpredictable. Bunkers are just dirt.
I tee time pused back 20 min with no reason
I drove 50 minutes to play the course for the first time. I made sure I got there in time so that I can be at the first tee at least 10 minutes before my tee time. Somehow when I got to the starter, the starter person said I'll be get out after this group, saying "they" have been sending extra people down to the tee blah blah blah which i don't understand at all and I've never heard of it from any golf courses I played. I ened up playing 20 minutes later than my tee time. I am very disappointed with the experience.
Course was great over all!
Considering all the rain the course was in really great condition. Very few water spots on the fairways. Always good drainage at RR! Staff are so fun especially Jeff! It was a wonderful experience overall!
I've seen it in better shape
Tee boxes and bunkers are in sad shape! Bunkers either have no sand, hard packed mud/dirt, or water. Tee boxes very rough.
Bunkers
Please ask the course management to put sand in the bunkers
I understand they are doing a lot of work and it’s costly..
and they are doing a great job on this work.
That being said we need sand in every bunker because most people just take the ball out of the bunkers
Has potential
Played this course for the first time on a holiday, so it was really busy and the pace was slow. I don't blame that on the course. The group in front of us was slow, and the group behind us was impatient and hitting balls past my group, while we were waiting for the group in front of us. As for the course, we played lakes. Lots of water features as the name implies, lost more balls than normal into them taking a few ambitious shots. The course layout was pretty nice. There wasn't sand in some of the bunkers, some of the greens were slow while others were fast, I belive it was hole 14 that was a little odd to find, could have used a sign. Hole 15 i had a beautiful shot that was unfortunately stopped by a sea of divits just on the edge of the green. Lots of leaves and lots of little white flowers, would recommend a high vis ball. Overall it was a beautiful day and we had a good time, but course could use some maintenance.
Hot deal gem
Ok, so the courses are under new management as stated by others. These two courses were great tracks a decade ago.
Not sure what the rack rate is but hot deals are well worth the time. Both courses are good layouts and fun for the average golfer. Just remember what you pay to play in this sport is always what you get!
Staff is friendly and the beers cold!

It’s all about the greens!
As usual a nice round at RR Victoria Lakes. The staff and the greens make it fun. A few rough spots on the fairways this time of year but well worth the money and great pace of play. Always love this course. Great fun!
The greens were terrified last week so they were still very slow. It will get better.
I’m local there so it’s not fair. I like playing the course. I play it at least once a month.
Not happy
Played on Monday seem like overbooked tee time 2pm but start my round at 2:20pm pace of play so slow green is very slow gloss is so tick better wait for couple month
