Need to do something about carts
This course is very nice, but it has been a problem for some time now, with regards to the carts. Getting to the course on time for your tee time pre-paid for carts, only to find out they don't have enough carts, and having to wait for carts to be recycled and by the time we did get a cart we were late for tee time. This is where the fun begins. The twosome we were paired up with ,two nice gentlemen, had their cart die on the third hole, yes on the 3rd hole .they call proshop to get a new cart but none came ,these two gentlemen carried their bags for next couple holes when we got to seventh hole in called again and complained and then someone finally showed up with a cart cart for these guys. Does it end there no, we make it to hole 17 when our cart starts to die and finally dies completely in the middle of 18 fairway and I have to push my cart yes that's right I had to get behind the cart and push it by hand to the 18th green. I do not recommend playing here until this problem is fixed.
Bunkers cement
Until they fix the concrete bunkers, the course will be unsatisfactory However, greens and fairways are in pretty good shape.
In fantastic shape…
Minus the first two greens, which were sanded. Other than that this course is in primo shape right now. Enjoy!
River Ridge Lakes
Good track, but fairly tough. Always windy, first
three holes tough. Greens are hit and miss, but weee veer quite good on this outing. At this time of the year when the heat is brutal, River Ridge has cooler temps since it’s quite close to the ocean. Overall a good track, good people and a good test of golf.
Windy round
Not unusual, but 2-3 club wind throughout the round. Course in good shape. Felt bad that the single behind us couldn't play through because the guys I played with didn't know Golf Etiquette 101.
Peaceful, great weather and fun and challenging for all levels
So nice and accommodating Robert at the check in booth and the Victoria lakes course start is amazing, encouraged us to come back and play more and we did back to back Saturday and Sunday both great days
Pin placement
Pin placement was challenging but for a weekend to us and the foursome behind us made the round longer. You would think for a weekend you would want the round to a little quicker. Almost every hole is was on a slope
Great Shape!
They have robotic mowers and they have really made a difference. Also The greens were the best shape I have ever seen there. Cheers to the staff!
Vet golfer
This course has come so far. Once a pristine golf course hosting AJGA events to be taken over and run into the ground by American Golf.
I played today and saw glimpses of the original golf course. solid green keeping and faster greens that rolled around 11 on the stint. This course has so much potential and is trending the right direction. There’s a handful of things to start cleaning up but overall solid track.
