Worst rate of play I have ever experienced! No one to help move things along. No beverage cart. T time was 12:40. And only made it to the 13th hole by 5. Could not finish before dark. Terrible experience

Thanks to the high price the course now charges the traffic was light. Conditions were an 8 out of 10 which I consider very good.

Tee box conditions and hole directory signs need improvements

No driving range without getting back in your car. No beverage cart. Otherwise a fine round.

Owners have a diamond here but they are neglecting it

This course is on the brink of being really good or just another overpriced muni that looks good from the road. If the owner gets the right grounds crew this place has a chance to be great because the corse is challenging with a great layout. It's not worth 100 save your money go somewhere else but it could be. Hope the owner reads these reviews

Lots of potential, poor execution. Dead rat next to PG was a wonderful way to start morning. Range not open on a Friday morning until late. Bunkers placed in great spots, but in poor condition. Price doesn’t match conditions and there should be an expectation for the price.

Challenging and pretty course. But people weeenr fixing their ball marks so greens a little rough

Staff friendly

The greens and most of the fairways were really good, but the rest of the course is beat up. Balls off the fairway were lost because of areas that are oergrown, which resulted in slower play for us and groups in front. For the $, I was a little disappointed.Also, some of the bunkers are in bad shape.

Suggest a power cart as a long way between holes

Greens were soft so a lot of ball marks and many not fixed unfortunately

Good value

Challenging course. Greens were in great shape. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were hit or miss. Biggest issue was grass growing in several fairway bunkers. Really? At a high end daily fee course? Also, the technology on the carts (yardage markers) were right out of 2008. Good thing for phone apps that show you the hole layout. The owner is clearly not investing in the course or the related amenities.

First time going to Talega, tee time was 9:44 am. Range was off site about 5 minutes down the road. Range is your average muni like conditions. Large bucket was $18 which is a shame for a championship style course that they convey. Tee times were backed up 10-15 minutes. Took 5 1/2 hours to complete the round. Fairways were decent some burned out. Greens rolling about 10.5 Bunkers in terrible shape. No beer cart. 3/10 overall

Course in good shape.

A little pricey for a Wednesday round.

This is a very difficult and very long course...5 hours. The cart path is lo ger than the course poorly marked path easy to get lost, like a bad maze, more like a scary hay ride. Several 5+ minutes ride green to tee. Several 200 yard fly or die holes. No hole maps on cart or card. Barely visible flags. Lots of water, deep thick brush. Bring lots of balls and plan on 9-12 holes before you want to stomp out of there.
