Talega Golf Club

The course was very nice but the only thing there was a couple of holes that were still not ready so we did get a discount but they told us. The first bathroom that we went to the code wasn’t registering on the menu so I couldn’t go to the restroom. Overall we had an amazing time thank you Talega!

That's how we felt That's how we were treaded and yeah and you know who you are Amegos cause we really don't feel like we will ever go back.~

You guys just lost few great golf customers that had potential to bring you lots of customers in future ~ I really don't bother writing reviews like this

but you need to train your staff better and work on your customer service!

6 hour round. No Marshall, no water, close to 100 degrees. Terrible experience. Never again and will bad mouth this track to all.

We played many time before at this course. When we arrived, I saw the sign that stated recently green is aerated. I realized then that I was able to use the tee off coupon. I did not see anywhere on the site it was stated. Beside that, the whole course was in bad condition. May be the recent heat wave caused it.

How ever, the trash is everywhere and this course was not maintained properly. I was holding bathroom visit the entire time.

Range was closed. Course had been artistes but we were not told prior to arrival. A lot of places with no grass

Played this course numerous times and continue to do so because of the great weather, great value, and the uniqueness and challenge of the course layout that you won't find anywhere else.

Very disappointed in the course expected a lot more for the cost. Didn’t even have a beverage cart

Talega is a course you have to try if you have never played. It’s separated by two 9s that are extremely different and less you up to the last 4 holes that are some of the most challenging and tempting. Except for two par 3s all the holes offer something different. There are 4 par 5s and 3 of them are reachable with solid drives from the blues. The only area that needs some work are the greens. They are often slow and bumpy. The staff are awesome and the layout beautiful. Carols, the main starter really takes care of the patrons. Check out Talega, you won’t be disappointed!

The round was 20 min late teeing off and over 5 hours.

The groups ahead were so slow - they thought it was a Masters tourney.

2 of our foursome left in frustration.

It was nice to play again but I won’t go back for some time.

If you’ve never played Talega I highly recommend jt but keep in mind they are beautifying and improving it so right now there are slam funky elements. Tee boxes are a bit off on certain holes, greens are inconsistent. Otherwise it’s a great course with a variety of holes that all challenge different skills in your bag. It’s a must play in the OC.

Haven’t played Talega in a few years. It’s a tough layout. Greens, fairways and bunkers are all in great shape. Some tees are nearly bare but they’re in the process of re-sodding several of them. Staff extra friendly and helpful.
