Talega Golf Club

Talega golf course is by far the best value golf course I’ve had the pleasure of playing. The cost is more than fair, the corse is challenging and the weather is always great. On one of the hottest days I went to play, being so close to the ocean really felt great. Will continue to golf until I can’t no more.

It’s a little bit expensive but once you start playing, you can tell where the money goes. From the smooth cart paths to the pool table greens, the course is beautiful, challenging and extremely well maintained. It’s hard to find a better place to spend your time on a sunny afternoon.

Great course for $45, I wouldn't pay full price for this course. The fairways needed some watering. I never played a course with so many bunkers, they are everywhere. With the fairway bunkers, undulating greens and narrow fairways, I would rate this as a difficult course. With that said, the layout and beauty of the course is worth playing again.

Staff is rude, booked a tee time in the morning as a single and nobody else booked that time so was forced to wait an hour until there was an opening with others because they don’t allow singles. I live in Talega and would play san juan all day over talega for half the price. Need a new golf pro at Talega

The course layout was good. The fairways are in terrible shape. The greens were in good to great shape. The water features need maintenance. The bathrooms were clean-ish but very outdated. The GPS in the carts is seriously outdated.

Fun course, great greens and fairways. No on course drink service which was a bummer, but over all a great round

No beverage cart. Snack bar not open. No ball wash stations on course. Definitely not a $135 per round course.

We usually play here twice a month. Really have enjoyed the course in the past. Noticed some fungus growing on the greens. Played here yesterday and they have mowed the greens and placed sand so much so its like a beach. Basically unplayable greens. Won't be a back for a couple months until the greens are playable

Great course. Second time playing here and first time breaking 90 with an 89! Greens are great and so are the fairways. Definitely will be playing here again

I have been playing at Talega since it's inception. It has gone through many changes and trauma, but I continue to like the course. However, the greens do need a lot of work. It is now very bumpy and uneven.

Have not played in a while but was excited about tee times that are 10 min apart, felt this would really help the pace and would add to the value for $105 at 2:20. 5 holes in, 2 groups stacked in front of us for the rest of the day. 10 minute tee times, and a five hour round. 10 min tee times, five hour round and not a marshal to be found. Final blow, no on course beverage cart and the said that the snack bar would be closing early for a wedding.

The course is in better than average Talega shape, but otherwise the experience was a disappointment

The course conditions are great. The greens were a little on the slow side, but in great shape. The bunkers actually have sand unlike most courses in post pandemic era. Really enjoyed it!
