Nice 9 hole course
When we camp at lake Berryessa, we try to play a round @Wildwings
Great Round
This course is in the beat shape of 15 courses we have played in the last 3 months. While it is only a 9 hole course, it is still a par 36 with 3 par 3's, 3 par 4's, and 3 par 5's. The greens are in great shape and lush and fairly large. The fairways are wide, and the pace of play is good. An easier and fun course!!
This course is fun to play and was in good shape.
This course is 9 holes with 2 flags on each green. You play all the yellow holes first then the green holes on your second 9. The greens are in great shape and are fast and difficult with many breaks. The grass was very nice and handled the water well. The fairways are pretty wide and very nice but not many shade trees for the heat. Fun to play.
Great course.
Well kept, great greens. The dual hole format gives you a chance to get revenge on the back nine. Good drives reward you with receptive greens for your second shot. The par 5's give a challenge but are ready to give birdies as well, depending on the pin placements.
Good place to play golf
Considering we've had 2 times our normal rain, the course is in really good shape. The sandtraps were a little hard, but that is due to the water content that hasn't drained yet, it will get better.
The course does not have any trees in play other than the first hole. There are very few water hazards (I didn't count, but there might 6 or 7).
The greens are always well kept.
There is no driving range here, they do have nets that you can practice your swing using your own balls, the practice putting green has many slopes and variances in elevations. There is a small chipping area that is nice too.
The staff here is always nice and professional.
Thank you Randy Thomas for keep this course in such good shape.
Aeration not good
We did not get notification ahead of time that the greens were aerated a few days ago so putting war useless
Green Greens
They tout their great greens here. I have to admit that they were good but the only thing on the course that is actually green. Nice diversity though 3/4/5's were a nice shuffle. I'd like to come back when the fairways have had some water and the water hazards have water. I bet that it's beautiful. Too bad they're being hit so hard by the drought. It is however really green up the road at the Cache Creek resort course. WW was still a great deal for what we paid, $11.
Good Day at Wild Wings
The day didnt start out so great. We had booked the round on Golfnow.com and got a great deal to tee off at 7 am and beat the heat. Our playing partner arrived about 20 minutes before we did and was told the fee that we had booked at was wrong and it was going to be more. He paid the increased fee. When we arrived we were told the same thing and the guy at the desk claimed it wasnt the right rate. I pulled up the email from Golfnow.com and showed it to him and he grumbled a few things and reluctantly gave us the booked deal and adjusted our partners fee.
Other than that it was a great day on the course. The greens were in great shape, minus the fact that people cant repair their divots. The fairways were perfect and no complaints at all.
Love the course and play it every couple months. This is the first time we have ever had an issue at the course.
I have a great experience with my children.
Even if my children are beginners for playing a golf, we enjoyed golf without any stress.
ok
friendly staff good value for money will play again
***HOME AWAY FROM HOME***
This is my "home course" I play here at least twice a week!!! Its really a 9hole course go around 2x.. The fairways wide and currently a little hard so it gives u nice bounce!!!! 2 flags on each hole making the greens really big and they look awesome. "Best greens in the valley" but they play slower than you'd expect.
Great greens...overall good value
Course was in generally good condition. One or two holes had very hard fairways and short Bermuda which made the second and/or approach shot more difficult.
User friendly with wide fairways. Good pace of play.
Nice course
I never played a course with 2 flags on the same green but it wasn't a problem at all. Rough was pretty thick and the greens were aerated about 2 weeks prior and we're still rough. Course was fun and pretty wide open for all those miss hits. Can't wait to play again once greens are healed.
nice course, great value
The course played fair and was well maintained I will be back to play again
Great par 5s
Staff was very friendly and for $13 for 18 holes you can beat it!! There are houses throughout the last 6 holes but unless your a huge slicer or hooker they aren't much of a factor.. Huge wide fairways and long par 5s.. I would def play it again
Wild wings wow
This course is a jewel in the rough. We played it while we traveling to Reno. Got a lot more than we expected. Good people, super course with wonderful greens
