Good deal during covid
Paid $45 for the round. Overall the course is in good condition. The greens are ok eventhough no one fixes their pitch marks. I would give it 5 stars if the marshalls or greens crew would fix the pitch marks. It is getting heavy play and the greens might not hold up by summer.
Too many golfers and no range balls
Played this course many times but was very disappointed today. Got to range and they had no balls. Range picker just went out to get balls and took awhile to come back in. Played the front 9 and no one in front the entire time. Made the turn and was backed up with golfers coming from I don’t know where. Tee time was at 12:35 and did not get to finish due to these random golfers jumping on the course. Bad management on the range with no balls to hit and golfers just jumping in on course.
golf now charged me for a cart
no carts are allowed on valley course. so i didn't bring a cart and had to carry my bag, this is a difficult course to walk let alone carry. Beware- coyote blames golf now for incompetence, but i am the one that loses out

Good course, pace of play too slow
Players at this course need to be coached by the pro shop that any par or higher putt within 1ft of the hole should be picked up. I waited endlessly behind a foursome that took for ever cleaning up gimme putts.
Great course close to San Jose
This is a great course close to San Jose, pace of play usually is good. Staff is friendly too. Tee box, fairway and green are all in great shape.
Coyote Creek Valley
Overall a good course. Bunkers are placed in strategic places so the tee shots have to be thought through. The greens were in great shape. If you can put the ball in the right place on the green some opportunities for a straighter put else lots of break.
Pace of play was average.
5 1/2+ hour round too long
5 1/2+ hour round of golf is way too long.. the marshal wasn't doing their job.. frost delay and shotgun start @ 8:30 isn't a valid excuse.. won't be playing this course on the weekend again
Today's experience at Coyote Creek Valley Course
I have played here many times. Course condition is good. However, the pace is pretty bad today. For 10 minutes per tee, such kind pace is not acceptable. The group two groups in front of my group are extremely slow; my group and the group in front of us are always waiting on either fairway or tee box.
I think club house should do something about it.
