About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Exceeded expectations
Good price for layout and condition of course. Drive from OC isn’t bad as it’s opposite of traffic. Carts are a bit older but if that keeps the green fees low keep them!

First Impressions
The course offers nice views. The fairways are in good shape. The greens are fast and have plenty of slope to contend with. The range could use some work as the balls are not in great shape. The same could be said for the mats. Overall, I thought the course was a nice challenge. The pace of play on the front side was good, but really slowed down on the back side. It was an enjoyable day on the links.

They will charge for ride along
Course condition was good, other than random muddy spots here and there, but the greens were great! Only thing I didn’t like is they try to charge you a whole other $50 fee if you bring your wife to ride along with you in the cart even though she isn’t playing. Got it down to $20 because we were out of town and were not aware of this “rule”, first time I ever encountered it. Carts were not plentiful supposedly and sounded old, can hear the annoying sound of the winding motors. Need to update carts and finish 2-3 holes with dirt paths and put pavement

This course needs a marshal desperately the group in front were completely out of control all over the fairway 100 yards from cart to cart clearly at one first timer and everybody needs to learn the game but hitting multi balls from one location over and over is unacceptable

It’s a little difficult to know where the next hole is.
More direction sign would definitely help.
Better than it’s been in years
First time playing here in about one year. I was shocked at how good the course conditions were. Fairways were lush with no weed problem, greens were lightning fast and true with all in excellent condition. The roughs are usually where you can tell how courses are maintained- but these roughs were exceptionally well kept- no weeds or gopher holes like at Oak Valley. Only real problem were the bunkers- riddled with stones and many with standing water… almost unplayable. Carts are pretty battered and dirty, but they performed nicely. Staff are very friendly. Best course conditions around. Has not been this nice since it was built in 2000.

Great Course
Course is in very good condition. Greens are in good shape but a lot of divots. Seems like no one fixes their divots. Pace of play was good.

Bad Experience
Course is nice but staff wasn’t the great. Except for the front desk check in guy he was cool. A lot of rude people there players and staff
I'm sorry you did not have the best experience at the Club. I apologize for any unpleasant issues you had with any players. I'm glad to hear the check in process was great!
