About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Tee boxes and greens were in good shape, fairways looked a little worn. Overall course conditions were in decent shape.
Overpriced
Paid 75 bucks to play with aerified greens. Way too expensive for the condition the course is in. Wish Golf Now would of gave me a notice about the greens.
SLOOOWWWWW
Teed off at 11:10a, wrapped up at 4:40p. That is a 5.5 hour round! Marshall past by twice and did nothing to speed things up. Thee were 3 groups on every hole (4 on par 5s).
Not bad for winter conditions
Course is in decent shape - greens were rolling well. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape for the time of year.
Great winter course
This is a course that drains well after heavy rain. I think the pace was slow because everyone was out taking advantage of a dry spell in between rain storms. Golfers were rusty after the seemingly never ending rain and it took a few holes to break loose and get a groove going. After that a great sunny dry day to be on the course.
Comfortable
I like Teal Bend. There is enough challenge to make it interesting, but no gimic holes. Good time.
A must play course
The quality of the experience starts when you check in at the pro shop. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. It continues with the on course marshal and the staff in the restaurant. Early morning tee times sometimes provides a glimpse of a deer on the course.
Great course and Awesome Staff!
Just all around great experience from the course conditions after a week of storms, staff friendliness and great area! I brought someone who has never played Teal Bend and they lived it!
Rough
Hard to find your ball under leaves when you miss the fairway. Nice soft and dry sand in greenside bunkers.
Beautiful Course
Very challenging course. Great for long ball hitters. The course and greens are very well kept. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Pace of play is usually very good.
Becoming one of my favorites
Love this course, fun to play, beautiful course. Pace of play was good.
