About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Wonder conditions
Bring bug spray mosquitoes will get ya! Other than that wonder course! I’ll be back!
Real like the course layout
I have played this course three (3) times. I really like the course design. Overall the course is in very good condition, except for bare spots in the fairway. There are not large, but when your ball finds one of them, it like being in a deep divot. Since I only play for fun, I consider it round under repair and move the ball. The green are challenging. But seem to roll consistent from green to green. Even with the fairway condition, I highly recommend this course.
excellent conditions
greens and fairways including tee boxes in just the most excellent conditions. so great that all the wildlife was enjoying a day out. first snake seen in quite a while as well as a deer. just so wonderful to enjoy nature in its truest form. thank you for preserving this environmental gem. love playing here.
Great Trac, some dry conditions
This place just needs more water or change grass specifically on tee’s. Great design though.
Worth the money
The course was in probably the best condition that I have ever seen! They are still cleaning up the over growth in between the fairways including trees and those berry bushes that are ball eaters haha. The Marshals are always friendly and always stop too talk and give advice on hole your playing . I recommend you get out a play as soon as possible.
Becoming a favorite golf course
I have played this course three (3) times. Each time, I have enjoyed the round of golf. The course is well maintained. The greens are challenging, but the consistency of green speed makes it a fair challenge. The design of each hole is uniquely different enough to make the course interesting throughout the round. The fairway are wide, however if you get out position, there are unforgiving hazards. The selection of food and beverage is sufficient. The quality and quantity of make it a good value. Food and beverage prices on all courses, of course are ridiculous.
Wonderful Golf Course
Had a great round at this beautiful course. Great pace of play and other friendly golfers. Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful fairways and well maintained fast greens.
Rainy day
Unfortunately, it rained heavily just before my round. Therefore the course was very wet and slow pace of play. I played as a single with 2 groups of people three in front of me. HOWEVER, this a beautiful course with very good layout. The course has wide fairways and larger greens. Fun to play. With no prior course knowledge. I had no trouble navigating the course with my golf app. I do plan to play again soon.
Good course for all levels
Enjoyed the round. Moved along well. Course conditions were good.
Favorite round
My last couple of rounds were no fun at all due to pace and other reasons. Today was finally the day I was waiting for, we ended up being a 5some due to us letting a single player join us because he wasn't able to pass us due to tourney. 4-1/2 hour round is actually good, the guys were all great to play with and the course was phenomenal plus I played very well. Great day and will be attempting to play out here once a week.
I play here more often than not. I try a course or maybe two closer to where I live by maybe 10 miles but I always find myself at Teal. Great course all around
