About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Wonderful Golf Course
Had a great round at this beautiful course. Great pace of play and other friendly golfers. Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful fairways and well maintained fast greens.
Rainy day
Unfortunately, it rained heavily just before my round. Therefore the course was very wet and slow pace of play. I played as a single with 2 groups of people three in front of me. HOWEVER, this a beautiful course with very good layout. The course has wide fairways and larger greens. Fun to play. With no prior course knowledge. I had no trouble navigating the course with my golf app. I do plan to play again soon.
Good course for all levels
Enjoyed the round. Moved along well. Course conditions were good.
Favorite round
My last couple of rounds were no fun at all due to pace and other reasons. Today was finally the day I was waiting for, we ended up being a 5some due to us letting a single player join us because he wasn't able to pass us due to tourney. 4-1/2 hour round is actually good, the guys were all great to play with and the course was phenomenal plus I played very well. Great day and will be attempting to play out here once a week.
I play here more often than not. I try a course or maybe two closer to where I live by maybe 10 miles but I always find myself at Teal. Great course all around
Nice Greens
The course was in pretty good condition. The greens were nice and putted true. A little fast depending on having an uphill or downhill putt. Played with a very nice young man who was very polite. I was impressed with his game also.
Slow play
Kind of surprised to learn that 5 somes are allowed on the course. The group in front of us was super slow (5 people) and did not let us play through. When the Marshall drove by, he confirmed that they allowed 5-somes as long as they kept up pace. We told him they weren't keeping pace but he just ignored us and drove away. Disappointing.

Tee boxes and greens were in good shape, fairways looked a little worn. Overall course conditions were in decent shape.
