About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Wide Open but Course Conditions are Lacking
Played Sunday morning and place was wide open. Almost had the course to ourselves. We had a good day and will probably play here again down the road. Unfortunately, course conditions were lacking. Fairways in good shape but around the greens was really spotty. Greens rolled fast but also a bit beat up in spots which made for a tough putting day. Best part of the day was having the course to ourselves. Didn’t wait on a single shot. No one behind us. Noticed they were sending out two-somes on their own as we were wrapping up around noon.
Teal Bend tough but fair course
Nice layout, challenging course good pace of play. We will be back.
Can’t say enough about this place!
Pace of play here always seems too be a small issue. Nonetheless I always enjoyed the layout & the environment of this course. Doesn’t even feel like you’re in Sacramento until the Airport planes start departing/ arriving

Greens rolled true only 3 was after being punched,. Staff was very friendly and helpful, course layout was challenging and fair, wide fairway on par 5’s and par 4’s that can be played safe or if you dare, grip it and rip it. Can’t wait to play again
Great pace of play
Played a threescore in 31/2 hours They actually have a Marshall doing his job. Haven't seen that in years. Greens coming back nicely and they even have rakes in the traps. Had a great time
Don’t tell anybody
I. Keep telling golfers about Teal Bend but I really don’t want them to come to often so as I won’t be able to get a tee time. One of my favorite courses.
Beautiful Day for a Round of Golf
I like this course. Fun to play. You need to hit the ball pretty straight here or you could lose your ball in the scrub. The food in the restaurant is good, and the beer is always cold.
course had just been aerated so a little rough to put ,but not bad for the course overall
Recently punched greens, No heads up!
I guess I should have known something was up with the cheaper green fee ($29) but greens were recently punched and covered in sand. Not worth playing anytime soon.
Good value
Was notified after I booked that greens had just been punched! Would like to see that up front before having my credit card charged! I may have just missed it though. I booked another round today and looked for a notice which I didn’t see! Hopefully the green are good!
