About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Almost Perfect
Staff is friendly. Checking in and getting ready to play is easy. The tee boxes and greens are in great shape. The fairways are a little crunchy probably due to the heat, but certainly playable.
The true greatness lies in the layout. Every hole is tree lined and you never see or rarely hear another group on the course. Moreover, there is distance Through the trees between each green and the next tee box So the course is saying, “ Here is our next offering. Very enjoyable and unique in Northern California on a public course.
A beautiful course for a variety of levels of ability
Setting is beautiful, course is challenging for high handicappers but not too difficult. It's a bit pricey for what I'm used to but worth it.
fearsome foursome
great fun foursome to meet and play with. never a dull moment with lots of laughs. excellent conditions weather a little warm but a challenging course makes golf worthwhile.

Course is in great shape. Greens are fast. They have plenty of carts.

Course was under water. Never had so many muddy lies. Greens were mud with foot prints.
Eight different kinds of weeds in the fairways. Guess weed and feed is too much these days. Let me guess the answer. Just water it.

The lock down has given this course a rest. It was in immaculate conditions. Greens were pristine.
Very Organized
Given the existing Coronavirus situation, the course was very prepared to handle it. The check in was very well coordinated from acknowledging our reservation, advising of location of golf carts and scorecards located on a table right in front of the check in desk. Social distancing was practiced and there were minimal touch points throughout the course. Pace of play was just right. We never felt backed up by the group in front of us nor were we pushed by the group behind us. Our threesome played the 18 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes. I don't know if they were selling food due to the virus concerns so I can't judge the quality of that.
Great Golf Course
Great Golf course for an afternoon game. However, for some reason, they do not sell alcohol right now. Just Gatorade, etc.
Good covid course
I would have given this course 5 stars except they had just punched and sanded the greens! No mention of this on website but the course played well despite this!
Golfings good
Anytime you get a chance to play golf it can’t be that bad. Nice layout, conditions were excellent, greens outstanding, and pace of play was decent considering we were following a five some.
Teal Bend
The course was in excellent condition and the fairways are very wide so you have a good opportunity to hit the greens in regulation.It was a fun course to play and we finished in under 4 hours. Each player had their own cart.
Teal Bend in the time of Covid19
We had a great time. The staff made it very easy to get started and it is a good course. The greens and the fairways are a bit furry, but all in all this is one that I would definitely play again.
Watch out for 17! Make sure you know where you're going before your hit your shot.
