Teal Bend Golf Club
About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

The course as built is excellent
The fairways are sparse and the sand traps are firm however the greens are very firm and downhill putts are very very fast
Great course at a fair price!
Very nice staff. Cant wait to go back and play this challenging but fair layout. Worth the money.
Ok course
Nice greens but fairways are dry and hard and bald
Much improved, worth a try if its been a while
Love this course & layout. Especially for winter, very good conditions. Since last time I played, they have re-habbed many sand traps, really wonderful to see! Greens were super fast and in good shape.
Only gripe: 5+ hours for the round! Ineffectual marshals--not sure what they are doing out there, but they aren't keeping the pace up.
wewerwerew
i had to cancel this by calling the course, i hope i don't get charged a fee by GolfNow as you wouldn't even let me cancel it online!
LOTS OF MOSQUITOES
LOTS OF MOSQUITOES NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT ASAP ITS ONLY GONNA GET WORSE.
Great winter condition with excellent greens.
We played Teal Bend(TB) and for winter time, the course was in great shape. We also loved the green conditions as very pure and fast.
The linkish style layout is really a lot of fun with many bunkers which were also nice. Pace of play was a little slow due to one group
and course representative Jason apologized for the delays. I have always found TB a great course to play. Watched the 49er game after round and enjoyed a good lunch and beverages also. Another plus about TB is it's practice facility. Definitely look forward to playing there again.
good shape for the winter
considering its winter and most of the fairways are bermuda grass, the course was in good shape.
Fun
Fun course and challenging. Course was not soggy for this time of year so everything’s a plus. Greens is in good shape. Pace of of play can use improvement but decent. Overall FUN FUN FUN. I recommend.
The Teal reveal
Teal Bend is an 18 hole course situated just to the west of Sacramento International Airport. Every hole is Beautifully lined with willow trees that isolates each hole from the others giving a feeling of a nature walk. The fairways are wide enough with fairly large greens The greens are well maintained with good undulation. Teal Bend offers a well thought out track giving golfers of all abilities a good challenge to their game.
Great course
We’ve had a lot of rain lately and this course handles the rain as well as any course in the valley.
Rude Players.
I was the second person to tee off. There was a foursome in front of me who refused to let me play through. There was n Marshall. They were painfully slow. Waiting to pick out clubs until others had hit their shots, playing from the blues when they had no business doing it, etc.
after waiting 20 minutes to hit my shot into the green on number 6 I went back to the pro shop and asked that they either talk to the group about etiquette or please give me a refund a it had taken nearly 2 hours to play 6 holes as a single. The guy at the pro shop said there was nothing he could do
