Teal Bend Golf Club
About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Great golf
Everything is fantastic about this course. Only flaw is the greens are littered with dead spots from divots. I played this course earlier in the summer and the greens were much nicer.
Nice Course
Tucked away back in the trees. Well designed. It amazes me how close you can be to the airport but hear nothing.
Honest assesment
Great course for novice golfers. Not too challenging, a d great staff!!
my favorite course
I always rate this course as 5 stars because I can't find any faults!
Great layout
This course has a great layout and pace of play is quick. Greens are true and fast. Course is in overall great condition and staff is very friendly!
A truly fun course
One of my favorite courses , about one hour from my home and worth the trip. Each hole is lined with trees and beautiful as well as fun.
The driving range and putting green are excellent and the pro shop well stocked with great service from the attentive staff.
Pace of play is adequate, our twosome played in under 4 hours with no undue delays.
If I had a negative it would be the food was a bit sub par but otherwise a perfect day ( except for my score).
I will definitely be back.
Shrug
Tried to play midday on a Friday during Hot Deals, starter let us go out early and we still had a 4 and a half hour 16 hole round. Pace was incredulously slow with hardly 3 groups playing. Marshal wouldn’t urge group ahead of us because one of group was an employee. Like the course but around this time with so many leaves and duck feathers it makes it tough if you’re not in the middle.
Teal Bend is one of the best courses in the area
I play Teal Bend a lot. Feels like you're out in the country - no houses, lots of trees and animals. The greens are rolling fast. It's a course where it's imperative to keep your first and second shot in play because there are lateral hazards (usually thick, impenetrable brush) on just about every hole. The grass on a few fairways is a bit thin, but not bad.
Great shape
It rained an inch yesterday but you wouldn’t know it. This course handles the rain better than any other Sacramento area course. Greens are in great shape.
Nice course!
Nice course, greens were faster than I'm used to but not unreasonable. Bunkers could use some work. Great using GolfPass for the first time, no hassles at all!
Pace
Great course and conditions but they’ve to do something about wannabe pros, there pace of play was excruciating painful. All in all great day and course I highly recommend.
Love gate relationship
A life long affair, it has been some up some down but a true love nevertheless. A great, fun and long course. I highly recommend.
Great course layout. Always fun and challenging to play. Greens were slower than normal but
probably had been punched recently. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
