Teal Bend Golf Club
About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Nice course!
Nice course, greens were faster than I'm used to but not unreasonable. Bunkers could use some work. Great using GolfPass for the first time, no hassles at all!
Pace
Great course and conditions but they’ve to do something about wannabe pros, there pace of play was excruciating painful. All in all great day and course I highly recommend.
Love gate relationship
A life long affair, it has been some up some down but a true love nevertheless. A great, fun and long course. I highly recommend.
Great course layout. Always fun and challenging to play. Greens were slower than normal but
probably had been punched recently. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Nice even though....
Front 9 was closed due to aeration of the greens. We played the back 9 twice and is was in good shape. No cart restrictions. Some bunkers had water, the green were in good shape and fairways mostly dry
GREAT SHAPE
GREENS WERE GREAT AND FAIRWAYS GOOD AND MOWED-SUMMER LIKE CONDITIONS
The new bunkers are like playing out of Tour Sand
Two thumbs up!
Greens were perfect
As long as you stay on the fairways and greens it’s outstanding. Tee box views don’t look like the picures but there is good value overall.
Ok for the price
The Fairways and rough need lots of LOVE, Hitting the fairway did not give you a better advantage over the rough. The bunkers were hit or miss, good sand in some of the bunkers bad sand and lots of water in the other bankers. But the greens much better condition?
GOLF
Anytime you can play mid week, it’s s great day. There was a tournament so pace of play was less then desirable but fun nevertheless. Greens in great shape, fairways fair and layout is awesome. Tough overall but high risk high rewards. I RECOMMEND THIS COURSE!
Teal Bend
This is a fantastic course unfortunately the grass is dormant right now because of the winter. I went really early and there was tons of ice on the grass making it sort of difficult for my cleats to grip the ground. Overall still a fantastic game at Teal Bend
Great
Anytime you can play in the middle of the week, it’s a great day no matter what you shoot. Course still a little wet but greens in good condition, set up is second to none and length is just right. But you must keep it in the fairway to stand a chance. I highly recommend this course.
Love the sand
Thanks so much for the time and monies spent on the bunkers!
Fun, enjoyable course
Have played Teal Bend several times and really enjoy the course. It is challenging and fun. Greens in excellent condition, rolling true and quick. The fairways were spotty. Overall, given all the wet weather we have had the course was firm and fast.
Teal Better than expected
I’ve played Teal Bend at least a dozen times and always thought it was a solid value. The fairways this time were a bit iffy, but totally understandable for the time of year with largely dormant grass. The greens however, were in terrific shape. Bravo to the greenskeeping staff. They were fast and pure. Will play again soon.
