The Trails of Frisco Golf Club

A great course in excellent shape. Challenging layout with with serval risk, reward shots. I highly recommend this course.

Beautiful course, lush fairways & incredible greens. The average weekend golfer is gonna want to play it forward to keep a low score & have a good round. Strategy is a must for anyone on this track. Longer hitters or advanced ball strikers are gonna want to stretch this course & play the back tees or tips. Lots of undulations, bunkers, lay ups & hazards, prepare for a challenge & bring some extra balls! Pace of play was decent for a Sunday after a week of rain. Just slow enough to prepare on how to attack each hole but don't worry you need that time as well. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Great course, highly recommend it & enjoy your rounds!

Love this course. Fairways, greens, and bunkers were great. My only complaint was that the waste areas and some of the creeks were pretty trashy. The wind makes this course HARD. Shot a totally respectable 37 on the front side. Then, a 47 on the back side - at least 8 strokes due to the 25 mile an hour wind and my lack of appreciation for it. There are some holes that will trick your eyes your first time around - leave you wondering where to hit the tee shot. And, although this course meanders through a residential area, the houses are not too close to the course. If you put your ball in one of those back yards, it would have been OB on any other course anyway. My one really legitimate criticism is the the pace of play. This was caused by a young ladies HS tournament in front of us. Sure would have nice if the course had informed us of this detail when we made our reservations. You will like playing this course.

it was a cold and windy day, but it was nice place to play. The green is well maintained.

Do not play this golf course any time after a rain. It will need at least 10 days to dry out. Many fairways do not drain well. Greens, however, we very good. Pace of play was very slow due to cart path only.

A great balance of challenging holes and risk/reward birdie holes. Beautiful track, with great finishing holes. A tough 17th hole par 4 and an excellent par 5 18th hole!

We had 2 foursomes this day and had a great round! Not an easy course but a certainly worth playing often! We'll be back again, as a group, in the next 3 to 4 weeks!

It is very challenging course need lot of balls to complete :)

got paired with a threesome. very slow play until the marshall sent us thru a group and then another group let us through. the greens were perfect. all parts of the course were in very good condition. want to play again now that i know the layout. a good gps or yardage book would be helpfull

A great track even though several par fours were long forced carries on approach. Conditions and hospitality were excellent. I will definitely play it again.

Can't beat the price the course is in great shape and the staff is always friendly, need a cart girl on the weekdays though.

Played Sunday 10/4/15. The course is in really good shape. Greens were good, fairways were good, as were the tees. Very much enjoyed it.

I flew in from Charlotte not knowing what to expect. I was paired with a 76 year old man who shot an 82. This course is fantastic but tough as nails. Watch out for the creek that runs through every hole. I'll be back

Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Alot native obstacles to traverse give the course its bite.

Frisco Trails is challenging, but a fun/interesting course. It is one of my favorite public course in the northern Dallas suburba

Will definitely reccommend to everyone. Course well kept, keep it straight score great.

This is a very good golf course . Right now it is in great condition with carpet-like fairways , smooth and fast greens , and the native areas are grown up . Course knowledge helpful as lines off tee are not always obvious . Island fairways on several holes framed by native grasses is unique . Another nice design feature is par 3's from 140 to 245 yds .

Pro Shop and starter / marshals great . Cart girls and 19th hole staff must've had a bad night .

Course was in good condition, the fairways are a little thirsty and used. The greens are very nice though. The pace of play was horrible, its almost as if they had no round management at all. It was very very slow. Other than that, I don't want to pay this much when I can go to a couple nearby municipal courses and get greener fairways, same greens, same challenge, better pace of play, and good food at 15-20 dollars cheaper a round. This was my last time going to trails.

Loved it. It will be our favorite one going forward.

We snagged a hot deal to play yesterday around 11:30. The starters were great and managed the starts very well. The marshalls were present on the course to ensure proper flow throughout the day. Even with a full course we played in 4 hours. The conditions were excellent. The staff maintained the greens and fairways in the dry heat of August very well. We will definitely be back.
