Frisco Lakes Golf Club

I had a complicated tee time as I could not initially book a 4-some. (Had 2 2-some back to back). The Starter worked everything out and let us start early.

The weather was perfect (little windy)!

I think it may be a little too pricy for a round so may not be able to play here on consistent basis, but good course to go to once in a while.

I see np need in having to walk one hole. It is difficult for some patrons who are older. This course is in a retirement community so I would think that would be a consideration.

Played on Sunday afternoon, $292 total cost for a foursome. Driving range was closed. Chipping green was closed as well. Putting green - tees to putt at, no cups. Course was cart path only, but most fairways were hard and dry. I’m not sure when the last time was that the bunkers had any attention, they were unplayable. The tee boxes hadn’t been mowed in a while. Waited to hit almost every shot, then had group behind hit into us. At fourteenth green, we quit and drove in. There was a six-some on 17 was most likely the reason for the slow play. I’m just sorry that we didn’t leave sooner.

Loved the course, even with the added length of the gold tees a simple but fun layout. Only issue was we were a 4 some and told we'd have no one teeing off behind us for 30+ minutes. We ended up having to let 1 double and 2 singles play through even though we were keeping good pace. Small groups like that added at least 30 minutes to our round just waiting for them to play through & probably should be grouped up to avoid pace issues.

Cart girl was great and saw her 3+ times through 18 holes, greens and fairways were in excellent condition. The rough was super tough in certain spots, fairways hit are a must

Hole 16 was carts on path. There must have been a reason for it but we could not see one. It is too hot to be walking a hole. This course is in a seniors development and even though other people play the course they need to consider having players walk a hole.

COURSE AND PERSONNEL ARE GREAT. MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THE COURSE IS LIMITING SINGLES PLAY THROUGH SERVICES SUCH AS GOLF NOW. I HAVE PLAYED AT FL ON OCCASION THROUGHOUT THE YEARS --SOMETIMES WITH GROUPS THAT I HAVE ORGANIZED AND MANY TIME AS A SINGLE. NOW MY SINGLES PLAY THROUGH GOLF NOW HAS BEEN DONE AWAY WITH AND THIS HAS INFLUENCED MY DECISION TO BRING MY GROUP WITH ME . I UNDERSTAND NOT ALLOWING SINGLES DURING PEAK HOURS BUT I HAVE PLAYED THERE ON A SUMMER OR WINTER AFTERNOON WITH VERY FEW OTHER PEOPLE ON THE COURSE. YOUR COMPTETION THAT ALLOWS SINGLE PLAY SEEM TO BE THRIVING WITH SINGLES DURING NON PEAK HOURS WITH NO APPARENT PROBLEMS. HOPE TO PLAY AT FL AGAIN IF YOU CHANGE YOUR POLICY.

Range and putting green was closed so got there almost an hour early for nothing. Pro shop employee had the personality of a rock, a very unhappy rock. Course is one of my favorites and was well taken care of just a strange day.

Played Frisco Lakes for the first time. course was in good condition. The Greens look like they were a the latter stages of recovering from being punched. Seeing the residual marks on the greens lead me to believe they might roll a little slow but not the case at all. They were plenty fast enough. A couple were a little bumpy in spots but overall pretty good. Its a fair and fun layout. Will definitely be back again.

For a course that has the name Lake in it, there really isn’t too many holes with water. But the holes that do have water hazards clearing the ball over the lake are the most challenging and fun. The course was really well maintained and it wasn’t very busy and were able to play through comfortably in three hours.

Played today and the course was in really good shape. Fairways were perfect and the greens have come back and are almost back to tip top shape. Fun course and great layout!

This is a great course and since it caters to a community of golfers it’s in great shape. Don’t mind paying a little extra if the course is maintained. I just don’t like being told that I have to wear a collared shirt in the parking lot when the heat index is 110 degrees and you aren’t allowed inside the club house...stupid rule being enforced by over zealous Marshall...lighten up slightly, we are all doing the best we can and once we teed off I didn’t see another person on the course. It’s not like I’m going to be sitting down to a catered dinner after the round with your cherished patrons...get over yourself

Frisco Lakes is a nice course, semi-difficult with some interesting holes. A few risk reward holes that can be very interesting. I enjoy playing there and will return very soon. The value for your money is good. Give it a try, I think you will like it.

Pink shirt with black pants on 7/13 at 5pm course shop pro was rude on arrival after walking in was not greeted, Advised had 5 o’clock tee with no welcome and just hands keys, only one word responses. Not friendly at all, ran us off course as we are asking for directions to leave as he ran us off 15 minutes before closing while we are picking up to go in. Terrible service from him and he needs to make sure in the future he is no rude to guests. Green shirt Cart with curly hair very nice and friendly and took care of us when we thought we lost something. BRUNY needs to get it together.
