As usual, the course is in great shape. Some drainage work has been done. Traps are perfect. Greens, while slightly tricky in areas, are excellent. Pace of play was wonderful.

A great place to play.

I live in Dallas, and I played many courses in the DFW area, and this one is one of my favorites. It is quiet, relaxing with a beautiful layout. Lots of water, friendly staff, birds and not much noise (it is in a retirement community). There are birds and other wildlife, and this course is a true gem.

Great day for golf, the course was packed, but the course was in good shape and greens were lightning fast!!!

Good: Somewhat challenging layout depending which tees you play. Guy at the front can be friendly and helpful. Decently priced for course. Fairways are typically always in good shape.

Bad: Never really know what your going to get here. Here lately the greens had been pretty okay and rolling good. Tee boxes are horrible. If your not hitting off a sloped box then the tee box grass is pretty thick and "fluffy". Also the organization and setup of this place can be questionable. They have a few non-par 3 holes that are cart path only and playing them your not really sure why. They are also challenging so on the busier days it just really slows down play with group after group having to walk across fairways when there doesnt seem to be a drainage/rain issue.

Im also posting this review as ive had enough of there double dipping overselling. This course has a league and on the days they play there is no mention or disclaimer that halfway through the day all new traffic will start on 10 and merge with the groups that started before the league started. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING for all players. Latest occurrence put 5 4-somes on hole 10 (green, fairway, 3 groups on the box) and people accusing the oncoming players of cutting. Then the rest of your reversed front nine your always waiting with the group in front of you on the next tee box, and so on. ALONG with that, they pull flags before dark so even after that horrendous experience waiting and waiting, you dont even get to play but a couple holes on the front. NOBODY IN THE SHOP TELLS ANYBODY THEY PLAN TO DO THIS. SO YOU PAY FULL PRICE BUT GET EFFED OF FINISHING A ROUND. Shame on yall Frisco Lakes

Course is in great shape. Pace of play was great, played in four hours on a Sunday.

Course is always in good condition and has very interesting holes. Pace of play was wonderful yesterday. I recommend this course highly.

Greens are in great shape probably running 11/12 tee boxes need work but the staff inside has poor attitudes

Love this course. I little pricey, in my opinion, even with a Hot Deal. Very pricey without a Hot Deal. The course is usually in good shape. I like the layout, with the exception of par four number nine. There's really no good place for the duffer (me) to lay up. My only consistent complaint has to do with pace of play. Folks either don't know golf etiquette or ignore it. Either way, there is never a marshal when you need them. Our foursome played the front nine is 90 minutes. The back nine took almost twice that long. Very tempted just to drive around the three-some in front of us.

This course would have been rated higher if so many of the holes were not Cart Path Only. I certainly expect that on most Par 3’s but every hole was cart path only. And the fairways were wide (normally a good thing) but not if you had to walk to your ball, then back to the cart. This was really inconvenient and irritating.

Otherwise, the course layout was good, a few holes were really cool and challenging. Food was scarce, especially before 11a but the cart girl made an appearance about 4 times.

Glad we went but it’s not on the list of places I will be returning to anytime soon.

So the course was in overall good condition. But there were repairs going on at all the par 3’s! They were all moved up to 100yds or less. It was like a pitch! Then we called for 2 sandwiches on 8 and when we went in to grab at turn it took 20 more minutes to get food. Staff didn’t even seem to know what was going on!!?? I had a 2:15 tee time, but for $45 at that time it was not worth the $! It was basically the last tee time of the day, we finished at dark. They need to reduce the prices while the course is under repair like that. Will probably not be going back, there are a lot better courses for that price at that time I would prefer to play.

I really like the course. The pace of the two groups ahead of us was extremely slow. Players were playing from Back tees but should have been playing from the second tee. Resulting in us having a 5 hour 15 minute round. We are normally a 3.5-4 hour round.

Fairway is fair. Green is fine. Tee box is well maintained. The amount of sand in the bunkers are enough. Basically no complaint. I hoped the fairway was a little softer but am asking too much considering the recent lack of rain.

A 90 plus degree Friday and no beverage cart on the course! You would think for such a step green fee you could get a drink while playing.
