About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Great
one of the best courses I have played in DFW. Great layout and greens rolled awesome. Staff at club were a bit slow during the turn. Really looking forward to playing the course again!

4 some player, but greens was little bit slow rolls due to spreads sands.

We played behind and of golf tournament. Was slow for the 1st 9-holes. Then was good pace.

Nice course!
Course was in great condition considering the heat over the past couple weeks and lack of rain. Green were firm but receptive and rolled very nicely. Rough wasn’t too long but got thick around the greens. Great layout with a lot of water on the front nine. Will definitely be back.

Great Course for the Golfnow Price!
Not sure I would pay the walk up rate... Love the course, but it was a little soggy in some places... had to be over watering, it has not rained in weeks...
The bartender from Louisiana was amazing!!! Love her...

Not Great Not Terrible
Greens very bumpy and not in great shape. TEE Box grass way too long. Almost can't tee ball high enough for regular driver. Staff is cold and icy but....well.... pretty typical in this area.
Grass range is decent and nice to see instead of mats but the lack of any type range or practice membership keeps this facility as one of the exceptions to the norm and huge disappointment when it comes to affordable local practice.

What happened?!
I have been playing this course since it first opened. Today I played a round and the course is in THE WORST condition I have ever seen! The sand traps had large weeds, not just grass, in them and the greens were very slow and bumpy. What gives?! This course used to be a solid value and always in great condition. It’s obvious that the course staff isn’t taking care of it like it needs - like they don’t care. For the price that they are charging it should be in much better shape like all the others in the area. Wake up greens keeper, you should be ashamed!

Lots of rain
I've been working every single day and dying to play golf. I broke down and picked a day 2 weeks in advance and started counting down the days and minutes until my 2:24pm tee time. Wouldn't you know, it started raining at 3am and didn't stop raining until 11am. I called the golf course to reschedule and they said they were open. In disbelief and excitement I scrambled to get out there. The course was incredible. Greens rolled perfect dispite being punched about 3 weeks ago. Fairways still rolled out. In a week the course will be immaculate. It's phenomenal now and close to perfection.

Nice course, had fun
I enjoyed playing here today, nice layout and challenging holes but not ridiculous. Course was in great condition. Cart Service “Penny “ was very nice and came around about every 3-4 holes so we always had a cold drink. Our foursome we play here again with pleasure.

Course had the greens punched a few days ago and they were punching the fairways while we were playing. We got 10 holes in and the rest of the course was being punched and the plugs were still in the fairways. Very poor conditions to play in and would not have booked if we had known this was being done while we tried to play.
