About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Great Course
I really enjoyed playing this course. The course has a nice layout and is challenging, but not impossible. It's a great course for testing your game. Pace of play was fine, but it was very overcast and misting so not very many people were out on the course. I definitely plan on playing the course again and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

i cant wait to play this course again. loved it. greens were great. the staff was friendly. played 18 holes and they were all beautiful.

Frisco Lakes
The coarse played quickly but at the same time it was challenging. Nothing bad to say I will definitely be back again!
Worth playing
I heard this course was worth playing and it lived up to the reviews. It is a great layout and very well maintained. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent Golf Course
I was in the Plano area visiting friends and we looked for a nice course nearby. We chose Frisco Lakes because the reviews were very good, and they were correct. It is a beautiful golf course with some thoughtful, well-designed holes that were both challenging and fun. I would look forward to playing this course anytime I am back near Plano. The greens were amongst the best I have played this year; they were in excellent shape.
Excellent course
This is a very fair course. They keep it in great shape the bunkers have great sand and the greens are in excellent condition. I have played this course many times and consider it one of the best courses I'm the DFW area
Superb!
Very fast greens and thick rough so if you want to test your game this is the place!
Nice course
Very unique layout and some very fun holes. Overall good shape except a few dried up bunkers here & there. Rough is definitely rough here, lost at least 2 balls only a few feet off the fairway due to the dense 2nd cut.
Awesome course but....
Course was in great condition and the greens were perfect. There are a few holes on the lake that are pituresque awesome. Not too hard of a course either. Pace of play was good considering I played on the weekend...under 4 1/2 hours.
Only complaint was I saw the cart girl only 2x. I felt bad for her because she was driving a John Deere cart with no overhead coverage. It was 100 degrees in Texas got sun. I dont blame her for only coming out twice. She said the regular cart was broke...they had the part to fix it but just hadn't. I really felt bad for her and blame the course.
My Frisco Lakes windy adventure...
Challenging course especially when it's windy...front nine and back nine offer distinctly different scenery...I'll be back but not at the top of my list.
Excellent views
Played as a single on a work trip. Fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were coming back from being aerated probably a few weeks ago, but still provided a true roll. Some of the wholes had really nice views. Excellent course for the money ($30). Would definitely recommend and also play again.
drivers course!
This course is set up for big drivers, even has a par3 228 yards. Virtually no ironsfoff the tee, I will for sure be coming back soon.
Great Challenges!
Frisco Lakes is very picturesque with some challenging design features! It was a real pleasure to play.
Short course that has some challenge to it
HOT. Which meant few people on course afternoon. Two of us played in 3 hours. Love that part. All in all in good shape. Greens were average at best.
Front 9 Closed
Very disappointing to arrive at course and learn front 9 was closed. This info should have been available on golfnow site.
slow play
Twosome in front of us were extremely slow and rude. When Marshall asked them to speed up, they moved slower, leave the flags leaning in the pins not fully insterted on purpose. One fell over on the grren in front of us.
ON par 3, ball goes 30 yards, then he hits it another 30 yards, then another 30 yards.
I called the clubhouse from the course. these guys should be banned from the course...We've played there several times in the past and I"ve been playing for 30+ years and I've never seen this behavior on a golf course.
Frisco Lakes is a Gem
Great course for the money. Fairways and greens in excellent condition.
My personal favorite
Always in good condition. This course is good for an experienced golfer but not too difficult for beginners. Staff is friendly. There are less expensive courses around but this one is worth the money.
