Hill Country Golf Club - Creeks/Oaks

We played the Creeks/Oaks course and the course was in great shape for winter conditions. Greens were quick but rolled true. This was a great deal on GolfNow but the only problem was it was cloudy, cold at 51' and the wind was blowing 10-15 mph. Would play this course again when the weather is better. This is a tight course and the wind wasn't helping things. The cart girl was dressed like an eskimo.

we visit from Minnesota and when in Texas this course is one of the courses we make sure to play.

Fun course. Played after a couple inches of rain. Still lots of fun and variety. Would love to pay this course in summer with the course playing fast. Definitely a must play.

Wish the fairway grass was thicker but still in great condition for winter golf.

It was a great course to play awesome greens and fairways.There was a husband and wife in front of us that were playing extremely slow we were a 3 some had a foursome behind us that were complaining that we were slow playing I felt in easy and at times being rushed definitely didn't like that over all great course but I would have to give my experience on that day a c- staff has to do a better job with all golfers keeping up the pace I understand the marshalls cant be everywhere all the time with all that said I would still play another round on this course

The greens are impeccable, always a true roll, one of if not the best course (s) in San Antonio.

I played this course a couple of week ago in a tournament for the San Antonio Pipeliners Association. The weather was absolutely amazing and the course conditions were awesome as well. This course ranks up there with the top tier courses in San Antone such as the JW, the Quarry, and La Cantera. There were a few blind shots so look out for that, and the greens were a little tough to predict. I would definitely play this again.

Great day for golf @ The Hyatt, weather, course conditions, cart features, layout design, etc. . All elements of your game are tested. Beautiful hill country flavor throughout the golfing experience.

The course is an excellent value and challenge, even for a double digit handicap 68-year old playing from the white tees. Course is in great shape, greens were very slippery and fast, but well-groomed. I have played the course five or six times now on a Golf Now deal and I've not heard a peep from them about it. They know me now...especially after we held a recent benefit golf tournament here.

Nice course but you need to keep ball in fairway. Greens recently air aided sand still affects puts. Staff not as friendly esp when they saw I was using golf now to get a great discount.

Wonderfull place for play golf

I was only in town for a couple of days and had some time to play a round of golf. I came across this course in the GolfNow app for a great price. Once I arrived to the course, I was greeted with excellent customer service from the gentleman in the pro shop. I had about 30 mins to go before my tee time, and had a chance to get a bite to eat before tee off. Let me say that the lunch was great and the customer service was also great. As for the course, I was impressed with the conditions. The fairways, bunkers and greens was in great shape. It's noticeable that they take care of the course. The course was well laid out and had some challenging holes. Overall I had a great time. I highly recommend this course. You will enjoy it!

I have never seen this course in such good shape I will say I did get deal off golf now .but I have to admit I played tpc stadium course in Scottsdale. and all 3 nines were a lot better at the Hyatt .sand was so fun to play out of I hit in it on purpose to play out of it .I like the layout.it takes skill to play it well .with the multiple set's of tee's long drivers will like it to.staff is Awsome carts are nice course is Awsome.go play.

This course is always in great shape. From tee boxes to greens, it is difficult to find a better manicured course in the area. However, it does have a few flaws. The biggest is the layout of the course. While there are 27 pristine holes, quite honestly, it feels like there was only enough acreage for mabye 20. Most of the holes play very short so you cannot hit driver on several par 4s and even some par 5s. Because of the lack of acreage, they've had to gimmick up the course. There are trees that block greens and even fairways, a very short par-5 that is in the shape of a horse-shoe (as well as a very short U-shaped par 4), etc. You can easily get around this course hitting irons off the tees, which is a real shame because as I said, the conditions are great. The practice facilities are excellent but they charge $20 if you want to use any part of it. That's right, $20 just to putt. The clubhouse staff is helpful but I wouldn't exactly say friendly. The guys who run the carts and the girls who drive the drink carts are always friendly. Based on all of that, then lastly, I think they're over-priced. You can find a course with similar conditions and a better layout for a much better price (see Canyon Springs and others). Hope this helps!

Fairways were green and had good rolls in the afternoon and green were fast.

We were missing water hasards. Course was in a bid dry condition.

All together a course I would recommend within San Antonio area.

The course staff was very courteous and attentive to customer service and every person from the front counter, starter, and cart maintenance were accommodating and professional, my compliments to management. The course has three 9 hole tracks and all have their own challenges and some holes with risk reward shots that could make you or break you. I give the course and staff 5 star rating and hope my review doesn't over populate this beautiful gem in my backyard.
