Play this course pretty regularly and it's always fun! Challenging but still enjoyable!

Course is shaping up nicely, green need a few more weeks to fill in however over all rolled true. Look forward to playing more golf here soon.

Overall I am very satisfied with my experience. I played this course a couple times about 8 years ago for HS tournaments. It was a good course back then but had some difficulties in between. This was my first time going back after booking a hot deal on golf now. Was very happy to see the course in great condition. Hopefully the current management can be successful. Was also very pleased with the technology in the carts. The one complaint that I did have was the course did not have ice chests or even holders on the carts? Beer doesn't stay cold for very long in a plastic bag with ice, let me tell you. Overall I was pleased with my experience though and I do plan on playing again soon. I'll just bring my own ice chest!

I really enjoyed the course conditions and the greens were in great shape. It was my first time playing it but I highly recommend it and when I return to San Antonio I will definitely be back!!

This is a well designed course , With Great Views, Played course when first opened, was a top tier Golf course , Had owner change and was not maintain properly, But now, we were pleasantly surprised that they are bringing it back to the course I remembered, Will definitely play again. Keep up the good work, Kudos to Grounds crew and management.

Fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. A real pleasure to play.

My group really enjoyed our round of golf. They even had free water out on the curse for the golfers. I had only 1 problem. That problem is that I booked my reservation online and had to pay a small fee. But it was supposed to be discounted when paid at course. The staff member that took our money didn't give the discount of the money already paid.

As always, the staff was friendly and helpful. The course is rounding into shape with the greens vastly improving.

Pro Shop staff and starter not very friendly. Bar staff friendly but no beverage cart on course.

Not gonna trash this course. Just an average course. Great price. You get what you pay for. Course obviously gets a lot of play. Greens were great.

Great value for the money. Don't hit it in the rough. Greens excellent. Fairways will be in another week or so. Enjoy.

Unbeatable value for twilight rates. Excellent course, great technology in the cart with digital ranges, scorecard and location. No major deficiencies with the course. Not very crowded during the week

I have been looking forward to playing GCoT for so long. The touted "Zoysia" from tee to green was a draw for me make the drive out to the course. And I was totally let down. When you first arrive, the layout and landscape are amazing. Colorful flowers and a rustic style club house are set upon scapes of the Texas Hill Country. However that is where the beauty stops.

Counter staff that was in too much of a rush to even say hello, a clearly busy Sunday morning with split tee times and the was no beverage cart service. When we stopped at the turn to grab something we were told that there was a big event the night before and everything was put away. And since nothing was put back, we can't offer you anything. No food, no drinks, and no service. We stood at the counter while one employee was taking care of a customer on the phone and the other employee had a television remote in his hand, leaning with his back to us and kept watching TV. No greeting, no acknowledgment that we were even there.

The course was in rough shape as well, bunkers under repair, scalped greens on all but 2 holes, teeing areas where torn apart and untended. All in all it was not the experience I was hoping for. I truly hope this course gets the care and attention it needs. It would be a shame to see this hidden heaven go down the tubes.

First time to play this course and it will not be the last. Nice layout and well maintained. It has challenges, particularly on the back nine, for the average golfer.

I try to play the course once a week and like what it has to offer....decent fairways and greens. It's fun to relax at the 19th. They do a good job of promoting the bar and kitchen.

I usually have a very positive outlook when I am golfing, but golf course was a terrible experience. I was looking forward to this course because I have never played on zoysia grass before. Turns out I should have read more of the reviews. I was first out in the morning as a single and played the first 6 holes through sprinklers. You couldn't really tell what was fairway and what was rough and the grass was very sparse. The bunkers were rock hard and the greens had multiple rough patches and were covered in sand. In summary, the worst conditions that have played in years. After playing the front I drove to the back, passing the club house, and noticed a big group of golfers getting ready to head out to the course. I thought nothing of it until I got to the tee box of hole 11. The organizer had sent the group of golfers ahead of me, two groups per hole. After waiting on the 13th tee for 35 mins with it backed up to 18, I decided to quit and head back to the pro shop. The pro shop associate told me that the didn't expect me to play that fast. Which is funny, because I was the first one out and played alone. He came off very smug and didn't seem to care. After standing there for a few minutes he offered to give me a rain check for the back nine, which I didn't take because I was flying home the next day.

I enjoyed this golf course immensely, a variety of shots with this course layout, depending on what tee you play it can cause to use you entire bag. Long and short shots, lay ups where you would least expect. Over all very enjoyable I will play it again.
