About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. Slow Pace and Course a bit beat up
The Course was a bit beat up, but not unexpected for this late in the season.
The pace of play of agonizingly slow due to the foursome in front of us. It took us almost 5 hrs to complete 18 holes.
I like the Course, overall, and would recommend playing it to those who like a somewhat challenging but fair layout.

Clocks on course need to be repaired. Greens had recently been aerated
Course condition
I’ve played this course a few times and this is the worse I’ve ever seen it. When I booked it they didn’t say they just punched the greens. Slow play as usual and no Marshall anywhere in sight to speed up play waited on every shot very frustrating.
Quick early round
Looked like we were the third group off. 3.5 hour round. Expect the ball marks left by lazy people, the greens were in good shape, refreshing to play a course that actually had sand in the bunkers, tees were rough in places but nothing that caused any issues. It’s been about 11 years since the last time I played the course, after moving out of the area. Still a good course, with good customer service, and $60 for a Saturday round was appreciated.
No marshall for the afternoon rounds.
No marshall for the afternoon rounds. Horrible inconsiderate players hitting from the championship tees, spraying balls everywhere with no business playing from the tips. Slowing down the pace of play and having to wait for them on every whole. I'm horrible but play fast and no one is ever waiting on me to clear the green. I play from the whites because golf is already hard enough. Unless you are shooting under 85, you have no business playing from the blues or farther.
The course was n good shape, but too many leftover divot marks on the greens. People need to help take care of their ball marks. It’s not difficult.
A bit soggy
Good pace of play. Nice greens. Good layout. Some drainage issues; numerous ground under repair areas
