About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Always a great course but the course was in GREAT shape. The tee boxes weren't as level as they needed to be but it's forgiveable.
Not too much to complain about. The course is in pretty good shape. The only suggestion I have would be to fix some of the tee boxes.
Very, very slow play
Fortunately, I do not play regularly on weekends. Go figure higher prices and slower play??? I understand wanting to achieve full utilization of the golf course. But, for the enjoyment of the customers, there should be greater spacing between groups.
Great layout, sand traps horrible
Great Trac, it’s just the sand traps are not really sand traps. No maintainer whatsoever.
Slow Greens
The course was in pretty good condition. The Greens were too slow. Need to be cut. Staff was great, very friendly.
Great layout, plush fairways and greens!
Great course, only experienced 9 holes on the front but can tell it’s a gem. Looking forward to coming back at some point. Glad I made the last second trip out despite not being able to finish up.
Great finishing home
Holes #16 & #18, dogleg right around water are challenging
Wildhawk still great
I have played this course dozens of times over the years and its still great. The course was is great condition with well groomed fariways and the greens rolling true.
Solid choice for enjoyable golf
This is an underrated and very good course for senior & intermediate golfers. Relatively easy to score well and not excessively long. Course and greens are usually in pretty good shape although greens on this occasion we’re a little bit slow. Tee boxes are sometimes not in the best shape but they seem to be getting better. Staff is super friendly and the pace of play is usually pretty good.

thanks for coming out to WildHawk. We did miss our 4 1/2 hour pace of play mark on Saturday. We had a few groups in the morning that we just couldn't move along.
