About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Bait and switch
We booked for twilight rate of $35 , upon arrival discovered the course would not honor that rate.. even though we had the proper confirmations. They charged $45.
Another great round at Wildhawk
This round was free for me because of my golf pass rewards! The course was in good shape and the weather was perfect. What else could one ask for.
Beautiful course
2 things I wish they would do is make bigger markers when it comes to finding all the 18 holes. I passed a lot and had to turn around couple times. The map on the back of the score card helped a little bit and still was off. Other than that great course.
Great Neighborhood Course
I play here at least 1x/month...I love this course. The tee boxes are kinda torn up, there are a few patches or fairway that are sopping and muddy (which is a pretty neat trick in Sacramento County, which boasts regular summer temps topping 100 degrees). But overall, it's a cool layout, which I would consider challenging to good golfers, but accessible to marginal players like me. On a hot afternoon, was able to get a full round in for less than $40, cart included. Nice pro shop, too... Decent selection of clubs, shoes, and sweet clothes.
Fun course, but it’s been better
I think something went wrong with their irrigation as it was super swampy and even driver shots in the fairway plugged. Outside of winter storms, I’ve never seen it so wet. But, I know that’s not the norm. The biggest bummer was getting people there for their first experience at the course and there was a massive gaggle of drunk morons playing their music, screaming and yelling, using very colorful and, frankly, offensive language. Of the derogatory type. I think a Marshall talked to them, but that only lasted a few minutes. I understand that it’s a public course and a weekend, but I wish patrons like that would be removed. We skipped holes to get away from them, but that made little difference.

Friendly staff, well maintained course year around is what makes it one of the best public courses in the sac area!
