About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

STAFF IN CLUBHOUSE WAS VERY STANDOFFISH
DID NOT OFFER SUGGESTIONS.
PAID FOR DRIVING RANGE BALLS AND HAD TO RETRIEVE THEM FROM OPEN BIN OURSELVES.
STAFF WOULD NOT GIVE US GOLF CART IMMEDIATELY WHEN WE ARRIVED. HAD TO CARRY CLUBS TO DRIVING RANGE AND PUTTING GREENS.
COURSE WAS GOLF PATH ONLY, WHICH MADE IT A CHALLANGE TO MANUVER AROUND.
ONLY THING THAT SAVED US FROM EXHAUSTION, WAS THE CART BEVERAGE GIRL!!!
Horrible Experience
They put a 6-some in front of us on a holiday weekend. I pointed this out to the Starter on #1 tee and he didn't seem to care.
The round took 5:15 hours to play. Brutal.
No Marshal anywhere in site after the third hole.
The last 4 times I have played Teravista the times have been 4:30, 4:45, 4:45, and 5:15. Bad trend, but the management clearly does not care. I have complained every time and every single employee's response has been, "There's nothing I can do about it."
Go to Star Ranch instead!

Never Again
5 hour and 15 minute round. Never saw a marshal after the third hole. Management clearly does not care at all about pace of play. They overbook the course every weekend because they know they can. Never again.

Terravista
They had foursomes starting every 8 minutes. Needless to say when you are playing PGA intervals with normal crowd it was a disaster. 2 and 3 groups waiting on the tee time. 6 hour round

Very challenging course. Lots of huge burners. Lots of water. Pick your shots carefully.

A round of golf between the rain showers
Great layout, friendly staff. Fairways were in great condition and green were receptive and ran true.

Great layout
The greens were slow with deceiving break. Hard to reap. Course is in great condition.

Nice course, good value
The fairways are in good shape and the greens were fair, but challenging. Many holes had forced carries, which is always makes for an interesting day.
Good value and would put it on my replay list.

Since moving to this area I have played the course three times and I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was in very nice shape and had a great time with the threesome that I was teamed up with. I had a golf now deal which made it even better If I find more golf now deals I will definitely play this course more

5.5 hours to play a round.
Rather than stacking up tee times every 8 minutes, consider raising your price $5 and pulling back to every 12 minutes. I get that your goal is to make $$$, but continuing to operate in this manner is not going to get you many return golfers. What a whoooping to have to wait at every single tee box. I get that a par 3 can back up, but every single hole!?!? And to top it off there were at least 3 holes not including the par 3’s that were cart path only. Seriously?!? Can we slow the pace down any further?

Terrible time management
Course is in great shape, but the tee times are no manage well. It took us 3 hours to finish nine holes. We didn't finish, I can imagine 6 hours for the course.
