Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

Good Course. Reliable
I hate the fact there is no net for the driving range. Hole number 18 is littered with golf balls. Hole number 1 also. If you play a white ball and hit it to the right, albeit still well in play, there is a 5% chance of finding your ball in less than 5 minutes. Very uncool. Bring a colored ball for those holes.
They should give a colored ball out at the check In in order to play those holes. Its rather ridiculous.
everything else about this course is good. I like playing here. Once a month. I prefer Avery ranch and Star Ranch, But this is a good course.
Nice track!
course was in really good shape. Greens were very receptive given the hot dry conditions. Rolled very true. Pace of play was actually good considering they had a tournament going on. Top Tracer range is really nice to get your numbers before going out! Definitely worth giving it a shot.
Terrible Pace of Play
I’ve played this course multiple times in that last couple of weeks and each time the pace of play has been terrible. 3.5 hours to play 9?! Tee times were stacked back to back. What is the point of Marshalls if you aren’t going to enforce them?
Great course with a laid back vibe.
This was my first time on this track and it was an amazing time!
Went out with a buddy on Sunday, fathers day - 8:30am tee time. Got paired with a father/son who just became members about a month prior, which was great getting some local course knowledge as the course has it challenges. The course was beautiful and well maintained, as the title says, it also had a laid back vibe with all we interacted with.
Looking forward to getting out there again and again!
Great course
The set up is really nice the course is a good challenge very fair
No casual Friday round
I realized Friday afternoon round would be somewhat busy. But no carts until 4 minutes before tee off. No Marshall to move slow groups along.
Staff didn’t seem to have a plan to get things going. Not sure what they did to clean carts before customers. There wasn’t enough time to wipe them down and they weren’t wet when we got ours.
Fairways were cut so short that shots were not as easy as one would think.
Might go back mid week during late morning but never again on Friday or weekend.
A thinking person course
You have to use course management here. They have several short par 4s you have to be careful with or they’ll eat your lunch. The green were in excellent condition, rolled true but not to fast. I will definitely play again
Sand
Course in good shape. I spent a lot of time in the many bunkers. Just not for me
Fantastic place
Its a beautiful course and its a friendly place to play!
Great time
Great course for beginners and experienced golfers
Amazing
Best course in Austin, friendliest staff. They make it easy and fun throughout the entire experience. Well worth the green fee
Great course!
Terravista golf club was in great shape. The fairways and greens wer perfect. Pace of play was awesome. Played the round in 3 hours. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely play again.
Always Great
Teravista is a great layout and always great shape. One of the best in centex!
6 hours, yes that’s 6 hours
No, probably never again. It took us 6 hours to play a round. Yes, you are reading this right, 6 hours. No buckets for range balls (which were $15 for a large). Had to bug the guy several times to get the machine to work and for buckets. Oh every hole is lined with houses. Back to back houses.!
